The overall impression of Cyprus is super! Impressions from the tour operator - quite the opposite.
The sea is incredibly clean, amazing nature, friendly Cypriots!
About the hotel: really very small, the photos correspond to reality. its territory - only a swimming pool and a tennis court. but! In Cyprus, you can freely enter the territory of other hotels, there are no hefty guards and castles.
The location of the hotel. quite far from the center of Protaras, in a quiet, non-party place. there are no restaurants, taverns, nightclubs at every step. who needs - bus 101.102 go to Ayia Napa and Paralimni through the center of Protaras. 5 minutes drive to the center of Protaras. The fare is 1 euro, buses run every 15 minutes.
Beach. a stone's throw from the hotel there is a small bay with a sandy sunset. the beach is municipal, sunbeds and umbrellas are paid - 2.5 euros apiece per day.
The rooms are small and a bit cramped for a family of 3. A cot is placed for the child. There is always hot water, no insects were observed in the room. From household inconveniences: there is no refrigerator and hair dryer in the room. Cleaned every day, towels changed often, we had no complaints.
Food: beyond praise. Breakfast - European: eggs, bacon, sausages, 3-4 types of sausage (not soy), cheese, muesli, olives, fruits, awesome yogurt. Lunch - like a restaurant, you order from the menu. Dinner - buffet. The chef is smart, every day was not repeated. Amazed by the large number of meat and fish dishes. The staff is very friendly, the waitresses are trying, well done. We had All Inclusive, we tried a lot of drinks. do not dilute!! ! beer, wine decent, 13 alcoholic cocktails to choose from.
Cons: No entertainment for kids. there is no playground. Went a couple of times to nearby hotels for live music.
Excursions. Basically very expensive if you go with a family. we took the car for 3 days, traveled around the Postrov.
Shopping. Things are not cheap: the eurozone after all. the silver in Lefkara is very beautiful.
General conclusion about the hotel: the hotel absolutely justifies its 3 stars.
I want to go to Cyprus again, but not with this tour operator.
