It is possible for hotel guests to move between these territories, but now, if you came from the street, just like that, then you won’t be able to get to the sea - that is. the abundance of strangers on the beach is excluded. Our children are 5 and 7 years old, so the kids club and animation are not in last place for us - we have it all. Another point, where they wrote in many places that there is Russian-speaking staff. Let's say right away - no, because. “greeting” and “farewell” can only cause a smile on the faces of vacationers, but in no way be the answer to the questions “how to get to Nicosia? ” or "tell me the opening hours of the water park. " On the territory there are also a fresh water pool, one indoor which is heated during the cold months, an amphitheater, which also hosts evening animations or other events. I note a good gym - my husband was pleased! Stunning sunsets open from the upper and lower terraces! If anything, - a safe in the room for a deposit of 5 euros, and you will have to buy an adapter yourself in the store - 1 euro. But Wi-Fi is tight: 1 day costs 3 euros, 2 days - 5, a week - 10. A couple of times they still took it - call relatives, check mail, answer messages.
The hotel itself is located on the first coastline, we pass the main road to the side - so there were no extra annoying sounds. It seems to be already on the outskirts of the city, but nevertheless everything is close - on one side Coral Bay with pebble coves, on the other - Paphos itself, its historical part, with all the sights. The only moment, since in 2017 the city was chosen as the cultural capital of Europe, the local authorities are diligently “cultivating” - in some places impressive repairs are being carried out. But this did not bother us much, but for people who lived opposite such roads, there was probably a slight discomfort)
Since the children are small, bus trips have disappeared by themselves. It’s a pity, of course, because I would really like to see the monasteries in the foothills of the Troodos, and we could go to Nicosia and look into the northern part of the island, but apparently we’ll leave this for our next visit. We went to the zoo on our own (I’ll say right away, for such a small island, it’s a very good zoo - there are a lot of animals, there is a playground, a parrot show - 2-2.5 hours is enough for a visit) and a water park (we were also satisfied, entertainment for children in just right; they called a taxi, about 17 euros one way, on the way back we stopped in the city - to have a bite to eat in a cafe, from there it was already 1.5 euros per person by bus to the hotel). Since we went for 10 days, we didn’t want to stay at the hotel all the time - we asked the hotel guide to send for some kind of boat trip. So we sailed to the caves on the Black Pearl together with a team of pirates - the children are happy - they bought themselves, played enough, ate fruits, sang songs.
The rest was 4 ++, because there is no limit to perfection and we are just discovering Cyprus for ourselves!

Stayed this year with my husband in this hotel. In principle, I liked everything, except for the room service. We had a studio with a sea view. The room is good, we liked what we wanted. BUT! In the first two days everything was great, but then....The towels were not changed periodically, the floors were never washed.

All sorts of antiquities and villages - everything is as it should be for a Mediterranean island.
The hotel justifies its four stars one hundred percent: it is acceptable for the money, and for the service without a single complaint. We specifically chose a very quiet hotel, so that nothing would interfere with our rest, we came - and immediately went to bed. When we wanted to frolic, we went to Paphos, since it is close at hand. In addition, we rented a car and alternated a beach holiday with a survey of all sorts of interesting things. We took a standard room, our friends had a view of the sea, we don’t, but we didn’t worry - in a day you’ll see enough of the waves that shake. The room was equipped to the eyeballs - a safe, a kettle and dishes, etc. etc.
Cleaned the room every day, no complaints. The staff is generally very good, they are hospitable people themselves, but everything shows that the management both trains them and controls them. Neither among the maids, nor at the reception, nor among the waiters in the restaurant, you will meet a single one with a sleepy face, everyone is trying.
The kitchen, of course, in the hotel, as well as on everything, the island is Greek, Mediterranean - olive oil, vegetables, the freshest fish, lamb. Breakfast at the hotel is a strong catering, dinner is a solid restaurant. If it were not for the miles sailed in the sea, and not climbing the mountains and hills, to leave, I would have to buy pants a couple of sizes larger.

We rode for our own pleasure in completely different places: we looked at historical sights, and just around towns and villages - I wanted to understand how the locals live. Of the most impressive are the catacombs of the early Christians, where a certain Solomonia, later canonized, hid from the pagans in caves with her sons, but everything ended sadly. And the most interesting thing is that these caves have not become a dead historical place, the tree at the entrance is just hung with ribbons of pilgrims. In Paphos itself, the remains of its port fortress, built during the Macedonian era, are interesting. In addition, there are a lot of all kinds of ancient churches, monasteries, ruins, the names of which are hard to remember, but they are all insanely beautifully built into the surrounding nature. And, of course, the famous necropolis near Paphos is a whole city of the dead.
This time we will prepare even before the trip - we have already bought Le Petit Foutet and Around the World guidebooks, we will make a program for every day and we will move more meaningfully.
