I will write briefly because I don't have literary talent
Hotel pros:
1. Kitchen in the room (electric stove, kettle, toaster) + cutlery and crockery.
2, Literally around the corner, in a two-minute walk, there is a chain supermarket where you can buy literally everything from food and alcohol, as well as everything you need for a holiday at very reasonable prices (all local residents buy goods there).
3. Let, albeit slow, but free Wi-Fi in the room (they will give you a password upon check-in).
4. LCD TV... though there is nothing to watch on it....out of five channels, only one is in Russian, and then some kind of dregs with serials, but you can find out what is happening in your homeland from the news.
5. Convenient location, close to the embankment and historical monuments, and if you are planning independent excursions, then there is a bus terminus or car rental nearby.
Cons of the hotel:
1. The pool is disgusting (small and shallow, the water smells terribly of bleach).

2. I had to make a little scandal in order to check into a room with a decent view of the pool and a piece of the sea (at first they tried to check into a room with a view of the garbage cans). more or less worthy numbers are kept in reserve for the Germans, the British, and so on...
3. Cleaning in the room, includes daily change of towels and taking out the garbage. . . and this is where the cleaning ends (((. The bed was changed only on the fourth day, and then when I threw it on the floor))).... I quickly understood this replacement algorithm and after slept on clean sheets every night)))). They wiped the dust and washed the floors in my opinion only a couple of times in 10 days, but this is probably due to the fact that I appeared in the room only late in the evening and could not influence the situation, although the 1 euro coin that I left daily in the morning disappeared ))))
3. Getting an adapter for sockets is a topic for a separate story, they tried to rent it out by the day and earn 5 euros on it... in the end I bought it in a supermarket around the corner for 1.5 euros, and the second one was brought by the maid when I asked her.
4. With an ironing board and an iron, the same story, but 5 euros for a maid solved the problem and an ironing board and an iron were registered in the room for 10 days) and in general, my advice: Solve all problems directly with the maids, they understand the Russian language better and for a certain reward will get you even the moon from the sky))).
Now a little about rest. . .
1. Fish meze is a scam for tourists))) you can of course order if you don’t mind 60-80 euros, but my advice is just order fried sea bass and everything else to your liking (salads, shrimp, sauces), but separately, so you save 20-25 euros. And yet, I repeat the common truth: the farther from the embankment and the tourist area, the cheaper, the portions are larger and tastier. I preferred cafes where locals spend time, albeit without the steepness and glamor, for that it is tasty and not expensive . . you really need to know at least a little English.

2, The beach in the city was not particularly impressive, I went to it only in the early morning before breakfast, by the way, 2.5 euros per hour for renting a sunbed is not a divine price (((, and sunbathing on a towel 10 meters from the road or a cafe on stone slabs is special I think they won’t give you pleasure. Therefore, I went to swim and sunbathe on the Coral Bay beach, only 15 minutes by bus, renting a sun lounger and umbrella 3.5 euros for the whole day. By the way, I was delighted with the buses, perfect cleanliness, air conditioning, departure interval every 10 minutes.
3. It is worth looking at car rental if your company consists of at least 4 people, the price for rent and gasoline bites.
Now for the tour....
1, If you really like to climb ancient ruins and explore the mosaic floors and ancient fortresses, then a lot of historical monuments are within walking distance from the hotel... just carefully study the map of Paphos attractions.
2, "Cyprus Night", or rather an evening for 70 euros, on a donkey farm did not make the proper impression on me, probably because I don’t really like alcohol and horseback riding, even on donkeys, even on horses, even on ostriches, and also drunk discos. And if you like to drink and drink, then local wine and an analogue of our moonshine and chacha flow like water there and you will like it... on the way back, many Russian tourists "from Tagil" asked to stop the bus, and some threw up right on the bus))))
3, Delighted with a yacht trip along the coast with a sunset and swimming in the "blue lagoon". Everything included fruits and juices. light snacks, alcoholic cocktails to choose from. I was also very lucky with the yacht compared to the "basins" that came across, ours was chic both outside and inside... sorry I don't remember what it's called, but it's the most beautiful in the port of Paphos.
So let me summarize:

We went to swim in the sea, sunbathe and relax at the same time and get a general idea of u200bu200bthe island of the goddess of love Aphrodite, by the way, I advise you to visit all the places where she has been: Aphrodite's Stone (if you know how to swim well, you can swim around it, but I warn you of strong currents and waves), a bathhouse Aphrodite and the waterfall. I could sit within four walls at home in a chic apartment, so I calmly chose this mediocre hotel because I didn’t plan to spend a lot of time in it))) a 10-day tour cost me 720 euros for two and I think that all the shortcomings of the hotel are compensated the cost of staying in it, and the blueness of the sea and the caress of the sun does not depend on which hotel you stay in... it is better to buy with the money saved to visit interesting places in Cyprus or spend a couple of evenings in a cafe on the waterfront.
