Capital Coast Resort & SPA

The location of the hotel is quite convenient. In relation to the sea this is the first line. Although there is no private beach, the beach of the Venus Beach hotel is nearby and there is a piece of public beach in front of it. Distance to the beach 300 meters. You can go to the beach of a nearby hotel, but there are sunbeds for a fee, but the sand is well-groomed. The public space is quite dirty. The bay is very convenient and is protected from the waves by a small stone island. The entrance is gentle. You can go down right next to the hotel, but there are rocks there. There is a concrete promenade along the sea. To the left it goes straight to the port (55 minutes walk, about 5 km), to the right there is nothing interesting, but you can also take a walk.

It’s about 200 meters from the highway and there’s a food service right opposite (I haven’t been and I can’t say anything). Walk to the right about 350 meters to the Venus Beach hotel and opposite it is the Lidl store. Then the road leads to the lower city and the Kings Avenue Mall store is less than an hour's walk away. There are many cafes and bars along the way. It’s also not far to the upper town, but the road is uphill and unkempt.
I can’t say anything particularly bad about the hotel itself! Everything is quite acceptable and decent. The reception is 24 hours a day. Registration is fast. There are Russian-speaking administrators (Kateryna, Dimitris), and among the service staff there are quite a lot of people who understand Russian.
On the ground floor there is a mini market where you can buy water (there is a grocery section and a clothes section).
Two elevators. There is a food service on the reception floor. Through it there is a passage to the pools (three pools (1.20 and 1.40 and a children's pool 40 cm deep)). Through them there is access to the promenade and to the sea. There is a bar counter near the pool.
On floor “0” there is a kosher restaurant Blue Lagoon Kosher, but you can only get there if you check in through Blue Lagoon.
On floor “H” there is a SPA area (locker room with shower, steam rooms (one sauna is quite comfortable and a decent second Turkish one, but it didn’t work), a 20-meter indoor pool, a jacuzzi (turn on the switch on the wall and it works for 3 minutes, two baths, and the massage and treatment room). They provide towels for a deposit of 5 euros, which can be changed.
There are bicycle rentals, the ability to order a transfer, and a taxi. Early breakfast must be ordered at the reception before 18:00 and received there after 22:00.
The breakfast is decent, the monotony of dishes does not bother you, because you can create your own meals for the day. Cereals, porridge, ham and cheese, salads, olives, eggs in the form of a standard omelette, fried, boiled and omelette to order, rolls, bread, croissants, tea, coffee from the machine (not bad), milk, fruit drinks, bacon, beans...
For dinner there were quite well prepared dishes and a decent assortment, but I have seen better preparation and assortment.
There are no special complaints - you won't go hungry.

One of the downsides or points is that you are greeted at the entrance and sent to a specific table. True, you can always say that you are not happy with this place and they change it. The downside is that each visitor is led to a table and the rest stand and wait to be served. For us, this turned out to be not critical, since the hotel was not very busy and there were not many people.
The room was on the fourth floor, with a balcony and a view of the pools and sea. The sunset is not visible from behind the right wing of the hotel, but you can go up to the fifth floor (the roof, but you can even get there by elevator) and you can certainly see it from the promenade and the seashore!
The room has a TV (few channels), WiFi, hairdryer, kettle, iron, safe, ironing board, refrigerator, two bedside tables, two chairs, telephone, English sockets near the beds, a table on the balcony, two chairs, a dryer (dries clothes quickly), wardrobe, bedside table, two glasses, air conditioning (works only when the door to the balcony is closed), mirror, toilet in the bathroom, shower, bathtub, large mirror, set of cosmetics, two European sockets (one for 220 V, the other for 127 , turning them on from a separate switch and there is a limitation on the power of the devices used (for example, an iron cannot be connected)).
Cleaning every day and on weekends too, although I didn’t notice during the 10 days I was there whether the bed linen was changed. Towels and cosmetics were changed as needed.
From the non-critical: no night light, no tea or coffee bags, no water, the iron turned out to have a European socket (this is not a problem for us), the hairdryer is tightly connected and is located right above the cutlery.
During our presence, a problem arose - the cleaning lady broke the sink in our absence. The downside is that she didn’t tell anyone. One of the advantages is that after informing the reception and talking with the cleaning lady, the problem was solved very quickly (the sink was replaced)!
There is no animation, except for the noise of the sea and the noise of some guests in the evening, nothing disturbs sleep. Once there was a party, but it ended at the beginning of twelve o'clock.
The appearance of the room is decent and does not indicate outdated content. The SPA area is somewhat neglected, but there is talk of renovation in the near future.

From all of the above, I can recommend the hotel as a very decent establishment that lives up to its stars.
The location is convenient (if you rent a car, it’s generally ideal), the staff is friendly, unobtrusive and competent, the food is good.
