Came here with many of our compatriots instead of Egypt. Fully populated, and perhaps that's why there were not enough sunbeds around the pool. There was also not enough food, we had to wait for elementary eggs, they took out 5 pieces and left to cook the next portion, so only the most stubborn ones, who constantly asked to bring what had already ended, could wait for normal food.

Lunches consisted of a bunch of undressed coleslaw and carrot salad (which was pretty boring because it was the main course for breakfast, lunch and dinner) and sandwiches with bread, sausage and cheese left over from breakfast. From drinks, they smoothly slid down to just tap water, and started with some homemade citrus fruits like lemonade.
Cleaned and changed linen once a week. The sheet I got on the edge was not hemmed, but simply roughly torn off.
The mattresses on the couches are only for yogis, every single spring has been imprinted on me with bruises.
There are cockroaches in the bathroom. They do not give soap and nothing else from detergents. Upon arrival, they did not give dinner, although we stopped at dinner time. They don’t even give water, I had to go to an unfamiliar place to look for water and miraculously managed to buy it before closing. The rest of the vacationers were tormented by thirst until the morning, because they did not yet know whether it was possible to drink water from the tap. They don’t have convenience stores, they close at 7, if you’re lucky, then at 8.
And our flight was delayed and we had to pay extra 10 euros from 12 to 17h. Our guide said that if you extend the time, then lunch should be included, and the greedy owner said that for 10 euros, three dinners are not possible.

A layer of dirt and dust is everywhere, a luxurious huge bath turned yellow, drains are clogged, our two sofas (double bed) are full of junk, a pit covered with a shabby sheet. The pillows are from the orphanage. Out of 4 outlets, only one works. In the evening there is no buffet - in a small closet something is being built on a quick hand. The portions are large but not very tasty. It was said that in this "family" hotel the hostess cooks herself; one can only feel sorry for this woman and her unfortunate family, because cooking remained a mystery to her. And this despite the fact that 6-8 people are having dinner. There are no people. Only two rooms were occupied in our three-story building! ! Ghost hotel. I left the room, went down, went through the entire territory and the reception - not a single living soul. . From the good - a very convenient location of the hotel: close to the sea, to the main street and at the same time very quiet, comfortable. Of the very bad, no one is waiting for us here! In the whole building, one room is booked in advance and populated - and not to wash it after autumn, not to put the right amount of towels and bed linen - a disgrace to Cyprus! The fish is rotting from the head: the owner of the hotel is already old, you should not wait for some kind of reconstruction, they, together with the hotel, most likely, will quietly go to the grave.

The three of us rested in the apartment in July 2011. Go slowly to the beach - about 10 minutes. Near the hotel there is a good tavern "Taraxakos" with low prices, delicious food and large portions. Around several supermarkets with normal prices and assortment. "Pros": 1) We were settled an hour earlier than the scheduled 14:00.

"Pros":
1) We were settled an hour earlier than the scheduled 14:00.2) When the email went out of order. kettle has been replaced. 3) I had to call the local representative of the travel agency - no problems with the reception. 4) For lovers of pool recreation - adult and children's pools worked. 5) There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby.
"Minuses":
1) The hotel reminded me of a student hostel during the session - doors slam all night, shout from end to end of the corridor, run. 2) The staff is only English speaking. 3) Room cleaning was offered only at 2-4 pm (i. e. , the "siesta" period when we rested) - as a result, our room was never cleaned and there was no change of linen for 11 days.
4) In the kitchen in the room there were dishes, a stove, but there was no kettle, microwave. The kettle was given a few hours after being asked. When it broke, the replacement was done within a day. They refused to provide a microwave. 5) The bed linen was gray and torn in places. 6) The toilet bowl (we called it “old Harley-Davidson”) normally flushed only after 4-10 pulls. 7) Both rooms had air conditioners, but in the bedroom it only worked as a fan. 8) On Saturdays and Sundays around the pools, the place was rented out for local celebrations (weddings, birthdays, etc. ), tables were set up. The festivities ended around midnight, then the tables were cleared and the sun loungers were placed with a roar, which lasted until 2-3 am. Given that our windows overlooked the pools, it made it difficult to sleep. In addition, people returning from nightclubs liked to sit under our windows and discuss nightly adventures.
9) The TV showed only three or four local programs with ripples, so when something exploded near Limassol and the power of the air conditioners turned off, you had to find out the news on the beach. 10) The shower was without rubber gaskets and water poured out of it in all directions.
For lovers of pool holidays: the pools at the Valana Hotel are open to everyone for free access, on weekends locals come to the hotel by car and relax, so take sunbeds in the morning.
In general, despite the shortcomings of the hotel rested well.

Stayed at this hotel with a friend. The photos on the site are very old, now two new buildings have been built there, a lot of greenery, the rooms are simple, but everything you need is available. Nice place, nice people. I'm going there again.
