Nevertheless, we were warmly greeted at the reception, everything was explained and we went to the room. The hotel does not have any porters, so everyone was dragging themselves. There are only 5 rooms on the floor, so the right door was found very quickly. In general, the hotel is small: only 6 floors with 5 rooms on each.
Let me briefly describe our number. Two rooms: a bedroom and a living room plus a bathroom and a huge balcony overlooking the sea. They all have 1 bedroom apartments with sea view.
The bedroom is standard in my opinion: two beds, a bedside table with a radio (our Autoradio is caught), a table with a mirror for women, a wardrobe.
The living room is combined with the kitchen. The kitchen is quite normal, there is a small electric stove, a kettle, all appliances (spoons, forks, glasses, etc. ), a small refrigerator. The living room has 2 beds, TV, coffee table and wardrobe.
The exit to the balcony was from the bedroom and living room, there was a table and chairs on the balcony. The air conditioning is central but adjustable in every room, which is very convenient. In addition, the bedroom had carpet, and the living room had tiles. You can also add about electricity. In many hotels, the key is inserted into a special slot at the entrance and you can use all electrical appliances, and accordingly, when you exit, you take it (the key) with you and the electricity is cut down. For a hotel this is savings, for a vacationer it is an inconvenience. In Pegasus, this is all right. Key separately, electricity separately.
In general, the number is quite consistent with a good Cypriot 3 *. This is certainly not 4 * and not 5 *, but quite comfortable and solid. To complete the description of the room, I will say that they are cleaned every day except Sunday.
Go to the hotel area. I must say that there is a lot of greenery, some sunbeds are in the shade. Sun loungers are located near the pools (adult and children). All of them are free. Near a bar. To the sea 3 meters. The beach is pebbles, but after 5 meters in the sea there is already sand. For sand lovers, you need to walk only 10 meters to the left to the beach of the neighboring hotel Applonia. There is sand. It is not necessary to take a sunbed, since firstly it belongs to the hotel, and secondly it is very close to Pegasus. Another good thing is the small number of tourists.
The range of the bar located near the pool is small, but quite sufficient. You can both drink and eat there. The hotel has 2 bars: one by the pool, the other by the building. However, they work separately. During the day, the bar in the building does not work, but if you need something, then at the reception, you will definitely be helped.
In general, the hotel staff deserves a separate chapter. Since the number of numbers is only 30, they know everyone by sight the very next day. There are also two Russian-speaking girls. One of them is called Katarina (Katerina in ours) - she tried to help us with everything throughout our vacation: she herself learned about excursions, gave information about shops, restaurants, and so on. The rest of the staff is also very responsive and very friendly, which is very important.
As for the food at the hotel, I can say the following: it is better not to take breakfast, as it consists of the following: a glass of juice and tea / coffee, sandwiches and sometimes boiled eggs. Everything. We only had lunch there. The prices are the same as in the restaurants around. I know that out of the total number of vacationers, only 2-3 families had breakfast.
As for any little things, for example, adapters for sockets, they are right in the room, if suddenly not, they will give you a rental, there is a safe at the reception, in my opinion everything you need for a holiday is in this hotel. Of course, it is not a 5 * or 4 * star hotel, but this is one of the few places right on the seashore where you can relax for quite reasonable money (at the prices of Cyprus, I mean).
I would recommend this hotel to families with 2 children.
As for the playground - it is written very loudly, there are a couple of swings and that's it. But I want to say that in general, vacationing with children in Cyprus is somewhat worse than, for example, in Turkey. Even the most expensive hotel in Limassol (4 seasons) has only 1 water slide, and even then it is very small. Cyprus, in my opinion, is more focused on a quiet, relaxing family vacation, but if anyone wants to have fun, then all night discos are held indoors so as not to disturb others.
Summing up, I can say that Pegasus is quite a good family hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to help you. The hotel has many advantages, but there are some drawbacks, which, however, do not affect the quality of the rest. At least we really liked it, and I have something to compare with, so I rested not only in Cyprus or Turkey.
This hotel does not have bow-tie waiters (as in 5 *), but it has a wonderful cozy atmosphere, a beautiful huge balcony where you can sit down in the evening with a glass of wine and fruits chilled in the fridge and enjoy the sea view.
