Just arrived from Cyprus (Limassol, Park Beach Hotel ***). And immediately, based on fresh impressions, I decided to write. 1. General information - as it turned out in Cyprus, the currency is the Euro (there are prices in local pounds, but this is more likely to adapt the local population). Tour operator-“Biblio-Globus. “Upon arrival we were met and seated on buses. The guide read a brief introduction, a little history of Cyprus, and a little bit about everything. After passing two hotels, she said goodbye and naturally left us (we were driving for the first time), saying that supposedly the driver would call the names of the hotels. But the driver didn’t hear the roofing felts, or decided (does he need it? ) - he muttered something under his breath. Fortunately, there were 70% experienced people on the bus who told the newcomers where to get off. And only when the bulk pulled up to the driver, he began to loudly shout out the names of the hotels (50% of the bus were people over 60 years old).
The first impressions of the hotel I saw - I don’t know how it was repaired there in 2004 - smudges on the walls (this despite the fact that there was no rain in Cyprus for 4 years) well, in general, it looks like 3. I’ll make a reservation right away, I’m not a pretentious person, I served in army (urgent) and there I got used not to whine and take everything as it is (that is, to see the best sides in any situation). At the reception they gave us 405 numbers (these are the two buildings that are closer to the highway). We tried to “improve” our living conditions (that is, move to those two buildings that are closer to the sea). But it turned out to be too expensive for us - 9 EURO per day for changing the number. So the number remains the same. We went into the room, it’s clean, the air conditioner is not noisy (it’s true that not everyone is so lucky, with the air conditioner), a made-up bed with synthetic winterizer pillows (+ 2 pillows and a blanket made of synthetic winterizer in the closet). The bathroom is clean, only liquid soap in the dispenser.
As they wrote on the Internet, they don’t give soap or shampoo (they only fill dispensers 2 - near the washbasin and near the bathroom). Already three rolls of toilet paper (good quality). The rooms are supposed to be cleaned every day (they wipe the floor), but the garbage was not thrown out for the first 2 days. The food system (we had breakfast-dinner). Breakfast - all drinks for free - as usual "juice" - diluted concentrate (my opinion), coffee machine (tea, coffee, coffee with milk, "hot chocolate"), cutting (sausages + cheese - hard and soft), of course scrambled eggs (already ready + sometimes lightly fried bacon for it), boiled eggs, any herb for salad, bread and sometimes sausages (for bacon), jam. At breakfast, no one was recorded and nothing was noted - the wife, if desired, went several times (there are few fruits and they are taken out closer to 8.00.

Dinner (you can have lunch instead of dinner by notifying the staff) - you will definitely be recorded (room number) In principle, dinner suited me - meat, poultry and sometimes fish or seafood (all drinks are for a fee), 2 side dishes, some fruit (mostly "oak" red apples). Almost no baked goods. The territory is the only truly large + hotel. Of course, I would be careful to call it "eucalyptus grove" - as we were advertised in our local tour company, but trees, shade, a lawn with grass - everything is present. You can put a deck chair to sunbathe on the grass, or hide in the shade. Territories can be said almost no-pool and lawn between the buildings and the beach. On the territory, sunbeds, umbrellas and mattresses are free of charge. On the beach (they are all municipal in the city, for a fee: a sunbed 2 euros and an umbrella 2 or 3, I don’t remember). We sunbathed by the pool and swam in the sea or pool. The entrance to the sea is a large pebble (I did not even see any sandbags).
If you have the desire and money, a little to the left on the beach, the entrance is much better. As for cafes, if you can afford to spend 30 Euros or more on lunch, then you have no problem (we are looking for a cafe with Russian-speaking staff, that's all). We didn’t go far, so maybe we didn’t meet cheap and in Russian. It is desirable to either know English, or (on the advice of friends) to know in advance where and what to take. Portions are the largest, or very small (see photo). If there are no problems with shopping (except for prices, of course), then we personally had problems with food. I only know Russian and a little German (which, unfortunately, the local staff does not know, but my wife only knows Russian). How did we deal with the lack of water and drinks? If you leave the hotel, turn left, and after crossing the street, turn right (1st lane on the other side of the street). You can walk 300-500 meters to stumble (on the left side of the street) at the supermarket-PAPOS.
True, under the sign is the entrance to a small shop, and the market itself is on the other side of the building. We take a package of 6x1.5 liters of ordinary water -2.8 euros + 2 liters of orange concentrate (it is written - juice is true) -1.8 euros. In the room, you can charge cellular and other electrical devices with our socket in the bathroom, there is a socket for a hair dryer (it says 220 volts). Of the excursions, we went on only one Grand Tour ........ In addition to the monastery in Kikos and nature, there is nothing to see - a cosmetics store, a silver shop, a small winery (probably even a workshop), True, we fed heartily on the trip - lunch was awesome - a lot of meat wine, in general, everyone was satisfied. Prices in stores are very "bite". The ending of our vacation was blurred by a flight - we were herded like sheep into a flight room, and we stood there in stuffiness for about 30 minutes. They only speak English and very bad Russian, and all announcements are generally only in English. Toli two departures combined into one, or something else.
To sum up, the hotel is designed for pensioners and families with children (if you don't care about the lack of animation). I express my own and may be subjective opinion. I have no complaints either to the tour operator, or to the tour company, and even more so to the hotel staff.
