Very conveniently located in relation to big cities and attractions, there were no early departures for all trips.
The whole hotel is in greenery, a nice pool, there are sun loungers nearby, a good pebble beach, 7-10 minutes walk.
We also liked the room, simple, but clean and spacious, there is wi-fi in the room.
One small minus is that you can’t walk around near the hotel, there are a couple of taverns and shops, but you can find the most necessary things there.
I will always note the varied and delicious cuisine at the hotel, thanks to the chef.
Since we are fans of excursions, and it’s boring to sit in a hotel day after day, we took enough trips, so we managed to lie on the beach and see many interesting places.
I advise you, I really liked the Grand Tour - an excursion to the mountains, the main stop there is the Kykksky Monastery, a very beautiful monastery. We also stopped by the village of Omodos, and there we stopped at a very cool winery, I forgot the name, but I can say that the wine there is very tasty. We collected Cypriot wine Commandaria for souvenirs.
We also visited the city of Paphos, the European Capital of Culture 2017. A worthy city in every sense of the word. We walked along the embankment and bought souvenirs (it's cheaper here than in Pissouri). Rejuvenated in the bay of Aphrodite and visited the ancient city of Kourion. We really enjoyed.
We also rode jeeps and swam in the blue lagoon.
Cyprus opened up from a different unexpected side, and we liked the Hilatio Hotel!
First of all, I am very glad that I decided to change the usual resorts for something new and radically new. It was the first trip to Cyprus and everything went perfectly. Stayed at the Hylatio Village in August.
Excellent hotel, amazing food, spacious rooms, nice green and well-groomed territory, interesting children's animation, excellent excursions and beautiful, hot Cyprus! Have a great rest!
There are a few points that will come in handy if you decide to go here.
1. Iron and hair dryer at the reception on request. Please return after use. We took our hair dryer, so there were no difficulties.
2. Safe 2.5 euros per day. We did not take it, everything is calm in this regard.
3. There are no beach towels in the hotel, towels are only for the room. So either take it with you, or you can buy it in a store near the hotel, which we did.
4. Pebble beach! Slippers are required if it is not convenient to enter. For me it was normal, the child bought slippers. But the bay is great and clean.
5. Evening animation 3 times a week. Therefore, we went to the village of Pissouri a couple of times in the evening, once to Limassol on the embankment and one evening we were on a donkey tour, which goes along with the Cypriot evening. The evening was chic, we felt the whole flavor of this place.
Even ignorance of such trifles cannot spoil the rest, because there can be no serious complaints here. We really liked Cyprus and we were satisfied with the hotel. We will definitely return here.
The bay in Pissouri is pebbly, but the sea is clean and deep enough. By the way, this beach has been awarded the EU blue flag for its cleanliness.
But I would like to say that Cyprus itself made a greater impression. We visited the city of Paphos, Aphrodite's Bay, Kourion, Kykkos Monastery, Lefkara, Omodos and the Blue Lagoon as part of the excursion program.
But if you are with children, then be sure to go to the donkey farm. Our children were completely delighted, and we, to be honest, too!
Even though we have seen a lot of places, I know for sure that Cyprus has something to show when we return again. I liked the island.
Thanks for a wonderful vacation! We will definitely come back again.
I just returned from a week-long trip to Cyprus, I stayed in a three-star hotel, but worthy, Bomo Club Hylatio Tourist Village.
The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful area of Pissurri, only 30 km from the major areas of Limassol and Paphos, rented a car, traveled around Cyprus on their own, a picturesque island, nature, exotic bays, beaches, bright Cypriot sun, the sea shimmers with all shades of turquoise, just fairy tale.
The territory will not say that it is huge, but it is blooming, there are various plantings, palm trees, flowering shrubs, a well-groomed lawn, in general, green. On the territory there is a small swimming pool, fresh water, nearby are sun loungers for relaxation.
We had a Double Superior room, quite spacious, bright, the furniture is good: two single beds, a sofa bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe, a table, a mirror, a small kitchenette (electric stove, kettle, microwave), but it’s true that we didn’t have to cook even, only in the mornings they made coffee for themselves, a safe (it seems for an extra charge, I don’t know for sure, they didn’t use it), the Internet in the rooms is good, there were no problems.
But the food at the hotel, well, just amazingly delicious, all inclusive, the buffet was literally bursting with a variety of dishes, such an assortment, quantity and deliciousness, we did not expect a 3-star hotel. I told you, the kitchen corner was not useful to us, practically.
The beach did not disappoint either, not far from the 15-minute walk, the sand, the water in the sea is crystal clear, the beach is well-groomed, sun loungers for a fee, however, as elsewhere.
A good worthy trio, for such money. Thanks to the staff, nice service! But this area is for a quiet measured rest.
But the main disadvantage of the hotel is the food. With the All Inclusive buffet, only breakfast and dinner, something is piled up, but there is nothing, because everything, frankly, is not tasty. Beef for dinner in some kind of gravy, like in a kindergarten, where a lot of onions float, but there is no actual meat. Breakfast is still tolerable, and there is almost nothing edible for dinner. Lunch is on the menu. A choice of 4 salads (only 2 can really be eaten), and the rest are sandwiches and sandwiches with half-eaten sausage in breakfast, which is also of very poor quality, and spaghetti with minced meat. Everywhere the regime of austerity. The staff, along with the owner of the hotel (they are all from Romania), strictly monitor each guest, looking very intrusively into the plate when you approach the distribution. The owner always sits in the kitchen and watches everyone. Even if it’s all-inclusive, you can’t take drinks for lunch and dinner yourself, you need to wait for the waiter and even order plain water. And God forbid not to leave a tip - next time they will pretend that they do not see you at the table and openly ignore you.
But around the Germans and the British, these waiters directly circle obsequiously and look into the eyes. The staff is unfriendly, with me the wife of the owner of the hotel scolded a Russian boy of 4-5 years old because he dared to cry by the pool and prevented the Germans or Romanians from relaxing.
By the way, all economy class drinks, powdered wine, tap water. Juices are only yuppies.
Cleaning is poor, only taking out the trash. Until I found the maid and said - they didn’t change the towels, the bedding in general and there’s nothing to say.
Beach walk 10 minutes, the sea is clean. In general, I liked only the beach and the territory of the hotel. They have a gardener and everything is very well maintained. The Internet is very weak, even VK did not open.
Conclusion: I do not recommend this hotel. I met other tourists who also lived in other hotels in 3 *, I realized that we were simply unlucky with the choice of the hotel.
I can't say enough bad things about the hotel. The only thing is, it's a bit quiet there. The kids were bored from time to time. But I heard that a new mini-club is opening there this year and the animation will be more active. So, we are already planning a vacation here again. But I digress again.
The room is convenient, first of all, because it has its own kitchen. You can cook if you are with very young children. And so, the food is "all inclusive" and everything is quite tasty and varied: fruits, vegetables, side dishes, meat, fish, sweets. The child was satisfied, although I expected that I would have a hard time in this regard. I spoiled my men at home very much in the culinary plan))).
As for the number, everything is quite simple. The beds are separate, the furniture is solid, but not new. The plumbing is good and the air conditioning works well. This is a plus. It is already hot in Cyprus in May. There is a fresh water pool. It looks clean, but we didn't swim. The sea is nearby. The beach is sandy, but to go to it about 500 meters somewhere. And there get ready to give a couple of euros for sunbeds and umbrellas. This is the beach at Columbia Hotel. It seems that's what it was called... If closer to our hotel, then there are a lot of pebbles and not a very pleasant entrance.
The rooms are cleaned every day, bedding is changed 2 times a week. We rested for 10 days, so they changed us 3 times.
The Internet is not very, of course, but against the backdrop of the rest - this is even a plus. In principle, I did not find any obvious disadvantages, so you can safely go for a relaxing holiday with children. You will not regret.
