I was there in 2000 and I see from the reviews that nothing extraordinary happened: the hotel and the Russian companies that meet continue to earn steadily on gullible "fellow citizens". The rich excursion program with English-speaking guides was strikingly different for the better from that offered by Russian-speaking "compatriots" both in time and by bus, and at the same time much cheaper. In the evenings we talked to the people of Sverdlovsk (from the next room) and were grateful to ourselves - learn languages and save $$$$$$ !! ! ! ! ! !
