This is one of the oldest hotels, you can live, but there was no luxury, everything is old and worn out. I chose this hotel based on the reviews, it’s normal to live in it if you are not looking for some kind of luxury, I was alone, by and large I didn’t need anything special there, I saw that the food is normal there, there is a bed, and I went, plus it was and the most affordable options.

Compared to Turkey, for this money it would be much cooler to have a rest there. A big plus of this hotel is that there was a good beach across the road. there weren't many people access to the sea was close, there is a supermarket, everything else is far from the city to go for a very long time, you only need to go by regular bus. I took an excursion to northern Cyprus from Teztour, monumental medieval fortresses, amazing deserted beaches, it was super. that there will be an evening program, there are no animators. The food is the same every day, something new from the food rarely appeared. Palm trees and pigeons grow on the ground floor near the building, which ate fruits, polluted the entire balcony, dirt, stink. This was a significant minus of my vacation.

Hello dear tourists, I am writing a review for the first time in order to warn people who want to relax on the all-inclusive system. I will say right away that we have traveled half the world and we have something to compare with, we have already been to Cyprus 3 times, it was our 4th visit, we always rested at 3-4 *, so the level of the hotel could be objectively assessed.

Hello dear tourists,
I am writing a review for the first time in order to warn people who want to relax on the all-inclusive system.
I will say right away that we have traveled half the world and we have something to compare with, we have already been to Cyprus 3 times, it was our 4th visit, we always rested at 3-4 *, so the level of the hotel could be objectively assessed. But what we saw at the Holiday Inn could not have been imagined even in our worst dreams!!!
Let's start with the fact that we arrived early in the morning (a night without sleep), the hotel was half empty, but they refused to check us in, which is logical in principle, because check-in is from 14-00. We sat waiting on shabby sofas - dirty and shabby, where families with small children who had arrived before us slept.
At 14-00 we went to the counter and found out that we had no armor at all !!!!!!!!! ! And this despite the fact that we ordered the tour and accordingly paid for 1.5 months !!!! ! After a big scandal and several calls to our travel agent in Moscow, we were nevertheless settled. We must pay tribute to the rooms - clean, bright, spacious, comfortable beds and no creeping reptiles)))), I will upload photos of the room, but that's where all the pluses of this hotel ended.
Instead of the promised beach, there is a tiny hillside with no more than 10 places, but because there are few people in the hotel, but there were no problems with sunbeds. Greeks mostly hang out on the beach - friends of those who work on this beach, but they did not cause any inconvenience.
As for the all-inclusive system, there is no system as such. Meals - a buffet and soft drinks are free only in the restaurant during breakfast, lunch and dinner, the rest of the time snacks and soft drinks in bars for a fee.
We chose a hotel for a carefree holiday and do not want to think about how much money we have left and whether we will be able to pay off later, as we took a limited amount with the expectation that "everything is really inclusive. "
They came back from dinner completely downcast and frustrated. They don't even feed here. The diet was like in a seedy factory canteen, for dinner there was goulash, rice, pasta and mushrooms, for dessert - wooden pears, and that's it!!! ! At the same time, the waiters come up and ask which room you are from, looking like you are a thief, they don’t bring drinks 2 times. We talked to the residents of this hotel - everyone is horrified. There is no all-inclusive system here, there is a full board system. We were angry, upset and wanted to go home!!!! ! The only thing I wanted was to smash this unfortunate "biblio-globe" into bricks! There was a great desire to sue them. What we, most likely, we would do upon returning from this extreme trip!! ! If not for our travel agent!! ! Kudos to her and once again THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! ! I don’t know by what miracle, but she managed to move us to another hotel - Poseidonia Beach Limassol, although he was on the foot, and here’s the paradox, this is also 4 *, we were already there before, so we knew what to expect, after moving to this hotel, the real vacation has finally begun !! ! The staff is friendly and the food is top notch! Everything is great, but that's another story!
In any case, we lost 2 days of precious vacation. If you feel sorry for money, nerves and unfulfilled hopes for a real vacation, which we are used to and dreamed about all year, never go to this hole!!!!!!!!!!
It's been 2 months since this trip, emotions have already subsided, but every time I remember this disgrace, tears well up in my eyes !!! !

Excellent hotel! We rested in July 2009. The rooms are cozy and clean. Service is ok. We took a sea view, I advise everyone. A non-sea view is a view of a busy street with speeding cars - not a very pleasant prospect on vacation. The hotel is located about 3 km from the old city (measured on Google, so the data is different about the distance), we went there on foot 1 time, it's nice to walk, and there is an ancient fortress.

A non-sea view is a view of a busy street with speeding cars - not a very pleasant prospect on vacation. The hotel is located about 3 km from the old city (measured on Google, so the data is different about the distance), we went there on foot 1 time, it's nice to walk, and there is an ancient fortress. The city center is even closer, 1.5 km. The only negative is that there are no discos and clubs nearby. The nearest ones are about 2 km away, we went there by taxi and went on foot, which is also quite realistic. That is, it turns out the city center in one direction, the center of the tourist zone in the other. Discos are located near the Hotel Appolonia, 1 free and 2 paid. There are few young people in the hotel itself, mostly couples, and so - families, pensioners.
A huge plus of the hotel is its own beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas. There are few such hotels in Cyprus. There is a small sandy beach with gray-brown sand, there are many sun loungers on the grass, it is also pleasant to lie there.
The food was just amazing! Breakfast is always the same, a standard set, but tasty and nutritious. Dinners have always been different. 2 times a week, not a buffet, but served by waiters, this is called the Cypriot and Latin night with the appropriate cuisine and music. Therefore, there was not even a need to go to a restaurant, we tried the local cuisine at this dinner. The rest of the days there was a buffet, a table, but also different cuisine, Italian, mixed. Very tasty cakes. All drinks at dinner are paid.
Usually in the evening the pianist plays the piano and the woman sings. When the Cypriot night is something local dances. Well, this is all the animation, there are no events during the day. It doesn't seem to be developed here.
From the excursions we took a donkey safari and the Grand Tour of Cyprus. Donkeys are, of course, funny. There is a whole farm with different animals, they teach how to manage donkeys, then everyone rides them, then dinner and local dances. If you wish, you can purchase the rights to manage a donkey with your photo. Fun overall! Grand tour - a trip to the mountains, deep into the island. For general development, you can go. In principle, the nature there is not rich, there is little greenery, since the sun is 340 days a year, the mountains are not very impressive. On the way, they tell a lot about Cyprus, they bring it in for tastings, in the mountains themselves, there is an ancient monastery.
I can’t say that I really want to go to Cyprus again, it’s always more interesting to travel to new places.
In general, we are satisfied with the rest, the sea-sun is always a thrill!
