The hotel is not the best, but not the worst either. Although I have seen better 3 star hotels. Among the staff are emigrants, including those from the CIS countries. You can't count on friendliness, with rare exceptions.

Breakfasts and dinners do not differ in particular variety, the food is not very tasty, and sometimes even unpleasant. Although you can endure, sometimes something more or less tolerable comes across. Of the fruits in August, only watermelon was offered. But not always. In general, when one of the buffet dishes at breakfast or dinner ends, the empty plate is simply removed and nothing else is brought. That. you need to come not at the end of breakfast or dinner, but at the beginning, otherwise there is a risk of remaining hungry or being content with inedible leftovers.

Rooms are cleaned every day. If there are any problems in the room, you must inform the reception.

Air conditioning works, but in large rooms it does not cool the air enough. However, in small rooms this is not a problem.
Not a very pleasant moment - a neighboring house, located literally three meters from the hotel, which has balconies. As it turned out, this is a residential building, or rather rooms like a hostel with a shared kitchen and a wretched environment, where Cypriot guest workers live - Lebanese, Syrians, Bangladeshis, Pakistanis, etc. Mostly male. My room was a corner one and overlooked the sea, but the balcony overlooked this house. Almost every evening in the window opposite, some Arab, who had gone wild without a woman, noticed me on the balcony, arranged a striptease show. After a couple of such performances of love with myself, I had to close the balcony window with a thick curtain for the whole day.

It is also not very pleasant that day and night (even more at night) cars, motorcycles and scooters rumble along the road. It interferes with sleep.
There is a feeling that he never left Moscow. If someone has hopes to spend nights at discos, then it is better to forget about Limassol right away. To get to discos located in the tourist area, you need to take a taxi (it will cost 5 pounds one way, 1 pound = about 2 euros). Of the promised variety of clubs, we found only 5 - 7 establishments (and this is a lot ??? ). The Irish Bar turned out to be the most suitable for us (there are the fewest Arabs there), but after an hour or two at night, the ranks of the pretty tipsy English began to thin out and the ring around us gradually began to narrow as if Syrians had grown up from under the ground, etc. In general, it’s more to ride We didn't want a disco. It is also surprising that Cypriots themselves like to visit tourist discos, although they have their own clubs, where tourists, of course, do not go.

It’s only a minute to go to the sea from the hotel, but you won’t be able to go down to it, so you need to go to the city beach. It's seven minutes.

However, with the heat that stands in Cyprus in August, these seven minutes will seem very long. The sand on the beach is gray in color, similar to road dust. At first, I didn’t even want to take off my shoes, but then they got used to it and didn’t even notice this annoying detail. The sea is wonderful, very beautiful, refreshing, very salty, which allows you to stand vertically in the water at depth. When you go back from the beach to the hotel, in order not to die from the heat, we plunged into the sea and walked home without drying out. The sight of girls in bathing suits wrapped in pareos causes a lot of wild emotions among local Muslim guest workers jumping out of the bushes and repeating various spells in bad English like a broken record. This reaction is disgusting. By the end of our stay in Limassol, we were already so tired of the importunity of Arab laborers that we tried to reduce our exits to the street and dress as inconspicuously and modestly as possible.
Prices, by the way, in the city are also much lower. Despite the fact that in general, Cyprus is an insanely expensive country. For example, a bottle of kefir in a supermarket will cost 60 rubles. Not weak, right? (it is not yet a fact that the stomach will adequately perceive local products, some of the toilets do not get out for three days, although this is all purely individual).

Holidays at the Aquamarina Hotel (and in general in Limassol) are most suitable for couples, but not for young people who crave parties and nightly entertainment. Therefore, it is surprising to see the rave reviews of some tourists about the busy nightlife of boring Limassol. Perhaps there is simply nothing to compare. It is better for these purposes to go to Ayia Napa. There the sand is white, and there are no Arabs. And it is even better not to go to Cyprus at all. In any case, I will do so, especially since you will not see beautiful nature there.
