Vacation in September 2010 turned out suddenly, for a number of reasons, the choice fell on Cyprus, which I had not even considered for many years (I don’t know why). So: the end of September, Cyprus, Ayia Napa, Nissi Bay - in my opinion the most beautiful place on the island, and Nissi Park is an affordable hotel without frills.
HOTEL - a modest, neat three-ruble note, all in greenery, it takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the NISSI beach, there is another beach ("GOLDEN") - it takes 15 minutes to walk to it, when you exit the hotel to the right. The rooms are small, only a refrigerator is missing from the standard set, the linen is clean, the plumbing works perfectly, there were no complaints about cleaning for two weeks. But without beach towels it was difficult! I had to rinse my towels in the bathroom every 2-3 days and dry them on the balcony - they dried up overnight.
The entire territory of the hotel is placed between the two buildings, flowers, palm trees, everything is well-groomed.

Those who like to choose a hotel with their own territory will not like it there, they are better suited to the neighboring Christophonia - also a three-ruble note, but there is where to walk and the pool is several times larger, but the price is the same. (If I were going there again, I would choose "Christophonia")
BREAKFASTS are modest, monotonous, so as not to leave the hotel on an empty stomach. A week later, I already wanted something new, but for picky eaters, an absolutely normal breakfast. The all-inclusive system in this place, in my opinion, does not make sense. Around, and in the center of Ayia Napa, there are many establishments with awesome cuisine. They cook so tasty and varied in restaurants and taverns that we were in a state of slight shock! AND THIS IS IN COMPARISON WITH FRANCE!!! ! What about prices? Good dinner (lunch) for two 25-30 euros. We dined on the beach in cafes.
Salad of your choice 4-5 euros Baked potatoes + toppings 6 euros Beer 4 euros
In the shop at the entrance to the beach beer-2 euros. Take where you want, eat where you want, do what you want. Complete freedom of choice and morals, people even have sex on the beach in front of everyone and this is normal, no one soars brains with any garbage.
BEACH There are two beaches, as such, in the vicinity of the hotel, and both are municipal paid. Two sun loungers and an umbrella cost 7.5 euros for the whole day. Many people sunbathe on towels, mattresses and just on the sand - it's free. The closest beach is NISSI: a bay with a sandy bottom and a very gentle entrance to the sea, the water is clear as in the photo, there is only sand under your feet in the entire bay and it is very warm (about 30 degrees). On the beach there are cafes where you can eat and a disco bar where DJs light up from 10 am to 6 pm,
Various entertainment competitions, foam disco, striptease and other fun. This beach is naturally full of young people from different countries and nationalities. With such an abundance of drunken, rampant companies, there are no fights, scandals, etc. Everything here is based on the principle: “you don’t bother anyone - nobody cares about you, do what you like”

The other is GOLDEN BEACH: the bay is no less beautiful and sandy than Nissi, it is also equipped with establishments where you can eat and drink, but there is no music. This beach is more suitable for families with children and for those who want to read, take a nap. In general, we were delighted with such a clean and beautiful sea, and this is compared to the RED sea and ocean in the MALDIVES !!!
In the evening we moved to the city, where there are a lot of discos and other entertainment establishments working all night. At prices, eating and having fun there is much cheaper than in Moscow, and the quality is not even discussed. You can get around on foot: it takes about an hour to get to the center at a walking pace, you can rent motorcycle equipment for 25 euros, you can rent a car for 30-40 euros, but we decided that a bicycle was optimal for such a short distance and moved exclusively on them for 5 euros / day. Bus 1 euro. Taxi 5-7 euros. It makes sense to take a car if you want to move around the entire island, but we had two excursions: one to the northern territory of Cyprus - interesting, beautiful; the other in Paphos. For myself, I concluded that in Cyprus there is, by and large, nothing to watch. You need to come there and break away, it is better with a large company - an alternative to Thailand, if the season allows you to fly closer. The culture is European, the audience: the British, locals, Israelis, Greeks, Russians, a little bit of the rest. By the way, almost everywhere they speak Russian, everywhere there is a Russian menu and a Russian-speaking waiter, great!
