We had a voucher for the Tahspan Hotel, but the Biblio-Globus tour operator, on its own initiative, changed our vacation to the Kawama Club Hotel.
The hotel area is very large, beautiful, many palm trees, 3 pools, but 2 worked. For some reason, no one swam in the pools, maybe because the water in them was very cold and very chlorinated. The main restaurant with an open terrace and live music during lunch and dinner. The food is very decent, a lot of meat, vegetables, fruits are enough, juices are similar to natural ones, ice cream, dry white and red wine, beer, coffee, tea. . . nice building. 2 restaurants by appointment. Bars are scattered around the territory for the convenience of vacationers, we counted 4. The bar has cocktails, rum, beer, coffee.

All standard rooms are located mainly in old buildings and without balconies (they are not shown in the catalogs of travel agencies), it is good if the view is of the pool and the ocean, but it can also be on the opposite side, where the road (but it is not noisy) and the canal . The room is very modest, there was never hot water, the refrigerator and air conditioning of course did not work, there was no hair dryer, 1 Russian channel did not always work, at night in the bathroom you could get acquainted with huge 3-4 cm cockroaches, cleaning is acceptable (but every day we left according to the cookie), the cleanliness of the linen is very average, the water was supplied 1 time upon arrival the next day (keep in mind that in the morning you may not have water), then we just poured it in a restaurant or bar. Safe paid 30 cookies, worked. Perhaps the only negative from the hotel is the rooms, by the way they settled there not only Russians, but also foreigners, they were also shocked.
The ocean is beautiful, the water is warm, the beaches are huge, deserted, the sand is fine, the entrance is gentle, the sunbeds are old mesh or plastic without mattresses, for free.
The weather was divided, out of 10 days 3 fell on a storm, it was cold, but we used these days for excursions.
We flew to the island of Cayo Largo, liked it very much, visited Havana, the place "Guama", the Cuban variety show.
In general, we put 4 points for the hotel, but 3 for rooms with a large interference.
And I liked Cuba itself, although they do not live richly, they are very friendly, they would love to come again, but to another hotel.
