My mother and I went to Hainan at the end of March 2012, we chose the Wambo Hotel. The weather was rainy, gray for 2 days, there was no sun at all, and then it never rained, we managed to tan (+25+28 degrees). The beach is deserted, very high waves, so we mostly swam in the pool, and in the evening they poured a hot pool with radon (we often spent evenings there). The hotel area is very beautiful, a lot of greenery and flowers. There is no animation at the hotel, everyone entertains himself. Our room was on the 7th floor overlooking the mountain - the construction site of the neighboring hotel. The room had a safe and a refrigerator, tea was poured into a tin every day. The food at the hotel leaves much to be desired, preferably for women, diet food. The only thing you could eat - boiled eggs and buns, from drinks - hot coconut milk and orange juice. We dined and dined in neighboring cafes, a taxi delivered free of charge. For fruits and souvenirs we went to the center (near McDonald's) by bus number 26, our hotel was the final stop of this bus, it cost 3 yuan to get to the center, it took 45 minutes. We liked Hainan Island and Wambo Hotel is a good budget option)))
