We went here on a Join Up package, for two of us everything cost 13.400 hryvnias, for that kind of money it was a good vacation.

The hotel is located 20 kilometers from the city center, in a newly built area with skyscrapers. It should be noted that there is construction going on right next to the hotel, so the beautiful horizon as in the photographs is no longer there. The hotel itself is about 15 years old, the plaster has crumbled in some places, dirty, but not terrible. Lizards also run along the walls, but this is already a feature of the local fauna, the hotel doors are wide open 24 hours a day, plus next to them there is a beautiful tropical grove with palm trees and gazebos where you can relax in the evening.

Rooms are good, air conditioning works well, wifi too.
Every day the rooms were cleaned, two bottles of water, combs, shampoos and gels, combs, toothbrushes and a tube of paste were brought to the room. Naturally, towels are changed every day.

All channels are Chinese, all instructions too, satellite TV, so we couldn't turn it on ourselves.
The only negative point was that the shower and toilet are completely transparent, and everything you do in the bathroom can be heard in the bedroom. We were lucky, because in our room there was a partition between the bathroom and the bedroom, who had a shower and toilet right in the room.

The hotel is located right on the seashore, but at the moment there is no normal beach with sunbeds and umbrellas: the beach was destroyed by a typhoon six months ago, and now you need to make your way through a pile of stones and crumbling asphalt and tiles. You need to shoot for about 300 meters more to move away from the rocky shore, and there will already be normal sand. It is noteworthy that the Chinese themselves do not swim there, but only wet their feet. The sea is no different from the Sea of ​ ​ Azov, except that it is less salty. But clean, and even this wild beach is cleaned every day.
Our package included only breakfast.
It was rather different, but get ready that Chinese food is still different from ours, and it smells rather strange.
The meat will be sweetish, and the dessert will taste like rubber. For example, they serve some kind of bean jelly or osmanthus pies. Basically, at breakfast you can find seaweed, noodles, potatoes, strange dishes like lotus root, fruits are also enough (peppered pineapples). From meat - breaded chicken balls, duck, chicken fillet, meat jerks. All. From drinks: warm pineapple and orange juices diluted with water, regular or soy milk, coffee tea, coconut milk. There are no cold drinks at all. But, at least they give forks. In general, the breakfast is not bad, but after a week it got pretty fed up.

The staff at the hotel does not speak any foreign language, get ready to download a translator, this is the only way to ask for something.
Also, Russian-speaking guides Join Apa sit in the hotel every day, however, they are of little use.


Of the pluses, it can be noted that the hotel has two good pools and three pools with thermal water. There is also a pool with garra rufa fish for peeling, the skin can be treated well.

Nearby is the Younda shopping center with a supermarket and cafes, and every day a minibus runs from the hotel on schedule, which takes you to the Evergreen Park, from where it is within easy reach of the historical center.

I do not recommend changing money from guides at a low rate. Better take the free shuttle to Evergreen Park and change at Bank of China, the procedure takes 5 minutes, all you need is your passport. The exchange rate in the bank is 6.84, the guides have 6.50, they change dollars, euros, pounds. Money can be withdrawn from ATMs, but at a good percentage. Mastercard and Visa are practically not accepted anywhere here, everyone pays either UnionPay or via Wechat
Only local Chinese and tourists brought by join up stay in this hotel. It is important to remember that this is not Sanya, and Haikou is not a tourist city, although you can still swim here, just don't expect exotic and transparent beaches.

In general, we, like many people who came by "Fortune", were satisfied, because the rest corresponded to the price / quality parameter. Like it or not, but these are the tropics, with coconuts and pineapples : )

This hotel is not worth more than 250 bucks per person.
