My husband and I started doing renovations. A typical three-room apartment in Moscow in a recently built house. Everything is fine, but we did not like anything and wanted to create beauty literally in our own words. Interior design. I wanted luxury. It’s more for me than for my husband, really))) But there was no point in thinking about buying in Russia or Europe - it’s too expensive! It's outrageously expensive to pay for a brand that doesn't interest me. I got on the Internet and discovered China for myself...
We found a company that, in addition to purchasing goods, organizes a tour to the country. We thought, decided and... let's go!
We chose Guangzhou, the city of markets. There we stayed in a good hotel and went to admire the beauty of the city and the wealth of the markets.
It turned out there are a lot of factories, companies that produce furniture of different quality at different prices. There are good ones, and there are bad ones. There are so-so, and there are generally chic.
You don’t have to look at the price tags, one price is written, but during a conversation they call you another. Bought a table lamp. To the question "how much? " you are answered with a cost that is 20-25% less than on the price tag. (O_O! ) So you need to go there yourself and choose what you need. The prices there are neither for Russians nor for Russians. The same bed model, for example, is different in different salons. People from all over the world come there. And by the way, as in Russia, if cheap means complete shit - there is no such thing.
They are indeed purchased by countries. In the markets, firms, salons you will not see anyone: Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, India, UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, Kazakhstan, etc. There are also many Chinese from other provinces. Everyone wants to buy inexpensive, or vice versa expensive, but high-quality furniture.
And the quality is there. With Russia, in which the laws - if it's cheap, then it's shit; if shit, then China - there is nothing to compare. There, the same model, for example, beds of almost the same quality in a branded salon with a name and in the regular market, is sold with a striking difference in price.
There are plenty to choose from. Furniture centers stretch for kilometers along the local river.
In general, they say that it is worth going to Guangzhou only for bulk purchases: a house, a cottage or an office. Do you want a king bed? Please. Looking for a simple, comfortable pull out sofa? Please! Moreover, its quality can be close to luxury (oak trim and Italian leather, price tag 15.400 yuan, sale for 13.500 yuan). A similar sofa, but of a Chinese look, without oaks and leather, an average of 5.800 yuan. And the sofa is really good, although the price of such a sofa in Russia would be at least 3 times higher.
I can not say that absolutely everything is good in China. Well, of course there is a fly in the ointment. To find your manufacturer, you need to walk around these kilometer-long furniture centers, look, feel, sit, well, you can also jump)
It all depends on your taste and the amount of cash in your pocket.
Of the large shopping centers, I can advise the famous Louvre. The most luxurious (and expensive) shopping center of all in Foshan. There you can also find very high quality furniture at a very attractive price. Therefore, I would not even advise you to immediately shy away from him, making a shopping tour.
We walked and chose for a long time. Representatives of the company, the services that we used, helped us hard with negotiations, because we did not speak a word of Chinese) We also packed and sent it. Our goods arrived with a slight delay, but safe and sound.
In addition to shopping, we also had a nice rest. We went to Beijing, admired the night road, sailed on boats, visited many nice restaurants. In addition to the apartment, the husband also bought new furniture for the office.
I would never have thought that this is how real and wonderful. My opinion about this country has risen by many points! It’s true that I won’t think about repairs soon, so now you can make a trip to China just for the sake of this country =)
