Beijing-Xi'an-Loyang-Shanghai-Suzhou-Hangzhou-Shanghai 11 days / 10 nights
Everything was great. True, there were too many visits to tea tastings and silk factories. I will only talk about what I liked, because in general I am very pleased with the trip.
We flew to Beijing, at the airport we took a ride on an unmanned train to the nearby terminal, where we met with the guide. The driver took us to the parking lot. already at the airport, we realized that we would have to overcome considerable distances. Beijing is a huge city by Ukrainian standards. The subway is the main transport in my opinion. wagons are new and well maintained. stations are clean.
the city itself is generally clean and well maintained, with the exception of the Wangfujing shopping street. Here you can try all sorts of exotic things, such as snake skewers, cabbage rolls in a bamboo cane, various exotic fruits and berries, such as lychee, smoky acid-colored lemonade, and yoghurts of some unknown origin. there are also all kinds of spicy soups and so on and so forth.
I will not talk about the main tourist attractions. because any transmission will tell you what's what. Regarding what was not taken into account in the tour - I advise everyone to visit the coal hill. from it you can see almost the entire imperial forbidden city and the sunset is perfectly tracked. I also advise you to take a walk in the hutongs. we got there at sunset and walked there until dark. it was very interesting to watch chess players, noisy companies, who were vigorously discussing something at a table with seafood skewers (which, by the way, cost 5 times less here than at Wangfujing).
Having looked at the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, the Summer Residence, the Temple of Heaven and Yonghegun, we can say that we briefly got acquainted with 1/1000 of the city's interesting places. I didn't want to leave this city.
By the way, despite the horror stories about hellish heat, the heat in Beijing is not felt as strongly as in Ukraine due to the fact that the sun barely breaks through the soaring smog. that's why it's stuffy here, but not hot in August. By the way, showers in Beijing are instantaneous and unexpected. and pours heavily. felt on themselves upon arrival and upon departure from Beijing.
