Sanatorium "Chenki" is located in a picturesque area on the high bank of the Sozh River. Huge tracts of coniferous forests, oak groves, wide full-flowing Sozh, water meadows in the vicinity of the sanatorium create landscapes of amazing beauty. The extraordinary air of the pine forest contributes to the prevention, treatment and improvement of people.More →

Every year I take Chernobyl or trade union vouchers and go with my children to rest and get medical treatment in the sanatoriums of my native country. I am quite picky, I try to find more positive moments, but at the same time I have already developed a certain experience, so there is something to compare this resort with. The first impression was pleasant enough. After the doctor prescribes the procedures, you will give the card to the reception and you will be assigned the time for visiting the procedures for the entire stay, this was not the case in other sanatoriums (there you go to the offices on your own, sit in lines, listen to that there is no free time, etc. ) - this is certainly plus.
Cons: a spreading bed on a pillow saw a lump of hair, an empty bottle of beer lay in the sofa (removed nothing); we went to the toilet a couple of times - there was a terrible smell of sewerage in the room - they washed it off, sprayed it with a freshener, nothing helped, as a result, the flush broke in the barrel, water pours all the time, to wash it off we collect water in a basin (I reported about the breakdown on Sunday morning, I hope removed on Monday). We are in the resort for 4 days, the room was cleaned 1 time 2 days ago. I have bronchial asthma, there are 3 carpets in the room that will not get wet, there are three bags of garbage in the toilet, the stink of the sewer. It's winter outside, whatever one may say, you spend most of your time in your room. Bronchial asthma in such conditions is not treated. The resort does not have a washing machine, even as a paid service. Is this a sanatorium for mother and child? You can forget about a good rest - every evening hand washing! (In each of the 8 sanatoriums in which I was - there were not only washing machines, but also equipped household rooms).
But something else finally upset me when I went to the doctor on duty and said that my child was complaining of a sore throat, instead of offering to examine him, treat his throat or give him some medicine, smilingly answered if you have a high temperature, you will pack your things and go home. Have we just arrived? Are we all vaccinated against corona, even a child? We always have such an adaptation to a new team, we get sick even in the summer... It doesn't matter! Where is it written? When purchasing vouchers, no one warned about this, I carefully studied the information on the site - is this also not there? Who will refund money for unused vacation? Moreover, it will be considered that this year we have already improved our health, which means that we will be able to go to the sanatorium only next year. Of course, before that, the doctor asked where we were from, maybe this rule applies only to citizens of Belarus? I hope that we will still be able to stay until the end and find the positive feature of this particular sanatorium (each sanatorium has its own pleasant feature). So far - a complete disappointment, although I was so looking forward to this vacation...

Loved the resort, great food, friendly staff.
It would not hurt to change the baths, if possible!
Of the cultural events, Petrovich's singing left an impression in my heart. Well done! He sings such soulful songs even when 3 people came to the concert! I do not rule out that we will return there again to rest.
Территория ухоженная, радует глаз. Очень красивый санаторий. Воздух свежий, аромат хвои непередаваемый!

Now in order.
The scenery on the territory has not changed much since I was 90 years old, I just went from school and everything was the same. Only a chic reception hall was made, and then HORROR!!!! ! Entering the room, we lived in the second building on the second floor, I even had a child 4.9 told him, let's not take off our shoes. The refrigerator was turned off, but it was not necessary to wash it, all the water inside and around on the floor. Dust is present everywhere, in the cabinets where the things of the former tenants lay, it is clean, and in the corners it is terrible. a carpet that is on the floor, and is considered bedside, when the edge is raised, sand actually pours.
The windows are old, see through, the handles do not work, on the balcony the frame has no handles at all, that is, you need to open it with your finger somehow.
Shower and toilet is generally Trash!!!!! ! The fact that the smell is worth it is just terrible. I used my perfume body spray instead of air freshener, as it was impossible to do otherwise. A shower, if it could be called that, is the components: a rubber (dirty) rug + rain itself and a faucet, at which only the rain worked and then in different directions + a curtain + most importantly a BASIN!!!!! ! There is no paddock. that means if one took a shower, then the second one goes into the toilet and the floor is completely wet, in short, into a puddle, since all the drain goes to the floor. It is impossible to take a shower, as the corner is very small and the curtain constantly sticks to the body. It is also impossible to hang the rain, since the holder is attached so high that the shower is directed in a completely different direction.
For guests there are 2 bars of soap and towels, 2 bath and 4 small ones.
There were 6 hangers with hangers in the closet, and you won’t believe it, only one was intact, the rest were all broken.
Seeing all this, I went down to the administrator, the answer was SHOCKED: You understand, we just checked out very late and we hadn’t had time to clean it yet. Excuse me, my ticket starts at 00-00 hours. we checked in at 7:30, but they have a maid working from 8:00.
Now a little about the dining room.
Service in the dining room is good / friendly girls always with a smile. But that's all...... There is no variety on the menu, although it is a choice. Very few dishes with fish and natural meat. YOU basically cutlets, meatballs, goulash, pilaf. That is, nothing more than natural. And the most interesting thing is that they have a buffet, but only 50-60% of vacationers have something to take from this table. even in the morning several times there was not enough milk oatmeal.
Yes, there is nothing to say about the procedures. Very friendly staff and doing well. The only place we have been in Chonki is the Salt Cave, or rather, the staff says so. who carries out this procedure. As far as I have heard about it, and where we have not been everywhere, it is recommended to talk loudly, even sing songs. And here, on the contrary, sit quietly, and go with children only in children's time to a children's session.
Having visited this sanatorium, I remembered my school years, how we rested there with classmates, for this MANY THANKS !!!!!
And so, talking with other vacationers, I did not hear a single positive review. And I just can not understand where such great reviews come from on their site.
The prices for accommodation and meals are huge, for 5 days I paid 314 rubles for myself and for the child. And there is no return. Treatment was purchased separately.
The management needs to fix all the shortcomings so that there are regular customers. I did not have a good impression in five days, and I have no desire to return again.

I got to this sanatorium with a child on a trade union ticket, so there was nothing to choose from.
Once on the territory, there was a feeling that we were in a kindergarten, everywhere there are figures of gnomes, fish and mushrooms, and at the head of all this is a monument to Lenin. Yes Yes.
The check-in went well, except for some inconveniences with the reconstruction taking place in the main building (construction dust is everywhere). But the most interesting thing began after the check-in. . .
Visually, the room is in order, but dust is EVERYWHERE. How they treat respiratory diseases there, I did not understand. With this amount of dust, any asthmatic will howl in an hour.
The maids do not do normal cleaning even after check out.
In short, my check-in to the room began with self-wiping dust, everywhere, even in the closet and bedside tables. In the closet I found three cigarettes, apparently from the previous tenants. The TV was filled with something like baby porridge (I basically didn’t wash it), the refrigerator works very poorly, one might say it doesn’t work, the temperature in it is about 15 degrees. The shelf in the refrigerator is made of plywood (how do they process it? ) The bathroom is combined, but there is no tray in the shower, everything is blurry on the floor, the curtain in the shower is torn.
I want to get back to cleaning. The appearance of cleaning is created daily, garbage is poured out and rugs are getting better, dust is smeared around the room with a dirty mop. After I applied the drawing, on the dust on the TV screen, the maid left a rag (sort of like, if you don’t like it, then wipe it yourself). The woman in the next room had the imprudence to ask that the room be properly vacuumed and washed the floor, so she heard a flurry of words that they were not paid for a thorough cleaning, I did not owe anything, etc. We were given linen for replacement on the 12th day, they told us to put the dirty in a pillowcase and leave it in the room outside the door (I'll pick it up tomorrow) - they took it in FIVE days.
Now the dining room.
I’ll write right away that the menu of Russians and Belarusians differs in both quality and quantity. A pencil for marking the menu is one for several tables, napkins constantly need to be asked, a teapot with tea is also one for several tables, soup plates are always wet (according to SanPiN they must be dry), cutlery is not always clean. One day they put a pot of noodle soup on the table (everyone had ordered borscht), at the request of the waitress to change the pot, she suggested that everyone go and look for borscht on the neighboring tables.
My trip to the director of the sanatorium did not give any results. A 45-year-old man sits and amuses his vanity with the fact that he is in a leadership position.
As for the medical base, I can’t say anything bad. All procedures are carried out by appointment, there are no queues near the offices, all the staff smile politely.
But leaving this "wonderful" sanatorium ahead of time will not work, even if you really did not like it, the ticket is closed by the date of departure.
All my messages are more directed to the leadership, which is too obsessed with profit at any cost... And they, unfortunately, do not understand that reputation in modern competition is the key to success. The main thing is to leave the client satisfied and he will return to you again and again, this is what makes a profit. It's a shame management doesn't understand this. . .

Santa Claus with gifts did not wait, as in another sanatorium. The only thing that I liked was the treatment and food. The staff in the dining room is not friendly, not neat, there were always problems with orders (they confused or forgot to put... ), the dishes are almost not washed (cups with lipstick were brought three times until they began defiantly to wipe them daily). Cleaning in the rooms: cleaning was done with a vacuum cleaner well, but the curtains, tulle, bedspreads were sooo dirty and stained. It was very inconvenient in the room - this was the lack of a foot-washer or a bath, as the water spread all over the restroom, you can’t do without rubber shoes. I will not go to this sanatorium again with a child, but without - with pleasure.

Leisure is well developed, every evening dances, movies, or a concert!
The only point is that I would like more free procedures. And so all is well!
In general, rested body and soul. Now we are planning to go in the summer, across the road there is a river and a beach!

And most importantly - there is no procedure manager - you yourself need to bypass all the places of procedures and coordinate the time. It is difficult to get into the library. The food is good. The staff is friendly, polite.

I decided to leave a review here, especially after reading the nonsense written earlier in 2012.
We rested there from December 30 to January 06.
We were going to go on vacation quite late, so there were not places in all the sanatoriums. And besides, we needed to go to the Gomel region. Calling all the resorts opted for this. Since there were only a few days left before the arrival, we did not have time to make an advance payment for the tickets, so we agreed to pay on the spot. We drove by car. It turned out that the parking lot in the sanatorium is free and guarded, which was very pleasing. We arrived at 6 am. We were seated right away. The room was in building 1 on the 4th floor. Number from the category of standard. The area is about 13-14 meters. Two beds, bedside table, TV, refrigerator, hallway with wardrobe, balcony, double-glazed windows. Everything is new, as we found out this year the renovated room. The only thing missing was a shower stall and an outlet in the shower for a hair dryer. But, in principle, even without this, there are no complaints about the number. It took us only an hour to complete the registration: already from seven in the morning tickets were issued and the cash desk with the registry worked. Everything is very clear and polite. At the beginning of the ninth were at breakfast in the dining room. I must say right away that the plus of the first building is the presence of a transition to the dining room. We fed well in the dining room (much better than in other resorts where we were), I really liked the variety of the menu. The choice of dishes is not really sanatorium rich. We usually arrived on time so everything was always hot. A couple of times late - no problem. There is a microwave in the dining room. The waitress Lena, who served us, is smart - always polite and tactful. We somehow didn’t communicate with the staff of the dining room anymore and didn’t hear any complaints from other vacationers.
The territory of the sanatorium is not large, so the spread of medical buildings is not a particular problem. Given the short stay, they took a ticket without treatment, and paid extra for the procedures. There are SO many procedures! Released on weekends, there are no queues. The only thing you have to walk around is to paint everything in time. They took massage: manual and mechanical, lymphomat, phytocandles, a salt cave, cryotherapy, dry carbonic baths, and something in cosmetology.
For vouchers for two for 8 days with a New Year's light, they paid about 19 thousand, for medical procedures about 10 thousand. I think it’s very inexpensive, and for that kind of money they didn’t think that you could get so much in terms of treatment plus accommodation with meals. Less than a thousand dollars for two in 8 days with meals and a HUGE number of treatments! BUT it should be noted that 8 days is still not enough, you need to come for treatment at least two weeks...
I also want to thank you for a wonderful New Year's light! Everything: from the festive table, which was just bursting with dishes to the entertainment program, was at the TOP level!! ! Even if you wanted to, then there is nothing to complain about. We had a great New Year's Eve. Everything is very organised. Honestly, I haven’t had such a good rest for a long time: a lot of competitions, a good dance program. Leading fellow, knows his stuff.
As for leisure, everything is thought out taking into account the contingent of vacationers. We went to dances and a couple of times to concerts. There were also some other entertainment events, but there was simply no more free time. Due to the short stay, we did not have time to go on excursions, which were offered a lot and very diverse. We only went to the sightseeing tour of the city - we liked it very much, for which special thanks to the guide - Valery Petrovich! We were planning to go to the pool. Such trips were offered. However, there was absolutely no time due to attending various procedures. I think that even if there was a swimming pool in the sanatorium itself, the picture would be the same. All the same, we all go to the sanatorium for treatment, and therefore all the time is spent on it.
So, summing up, I will say - a wonderful holiday for such a price. And the main plus of the sanatorium is an EXCELLENT medical base, and, as in all of Belarus, very friendly staff. You just have to go at least two weeks.
If anyone has questions - write, I will try to answer.

on the day of arrival there was a long dreary registration in room 9 (commercial department), there sat at the table a sassy fat bald guy who looked like a military commissar (probably a military pensioner) with a soviet manner of communication.
