Such isolation gives rise to a complete monopoly. In the store on site, everything is 3 times more expensive than in Rio, the prices for drinks are not very high, but higher than in ordinary hotels, you only have what they give in restaurants in the complexes. I went to many hotels in Brazil - everywhere was full of delicious fruits. Here they gave only watermelon, pineapple, guava and always unripe melon. On the table was a dish with a table decoration - 1 mango for the entire hotel. I brazenly ate it - the next day they put green mango. Where did they find it in Brazil - I'm wildly surprised... There is basically no ice cream in the hotel - in 36 degrees of heat! Breakfast is disgusting, lunch and dinner are tolerable, the meat is delicious. But when you swim in the bay, fish jump out of the water in a flock, and in the restaurant - only tilapia fillet (it is in our Omsk in any store). And something delicious fish in the restaurant is served only on Fridays! If you don't like it - call a taxi and go to Angra - the hotel area is closed and competition is not allowed!
In the sea, a strip of 20 m is limited by buoys, outside it people dart on scooters and bananas, and the engines run on alcohol and smoke on black. Probably because no one swims in the sea - everyone is in a chlorinated pool. You swim behind the buoy, your uncle comes and tries to wrap you around the buoys. I had to send it and swim for my own pleasure, but the daily procedure of sending was very unnerving... Prices - it's cheaper to buy a scooter and then throw it away. I tried to go to the islands in the afternoon - they said - rent a boat for 3 hours 800 bucks, pay and look for fellow travelers, share money between them. In the morning, though they find fellow travelers themselves.
On the positive side - clean rooms, nice staff, good wines and cocktails. There are a lot of children who are very seriously taken care of by the staff. The sea is muddy because of the sand on the beach, it is useless to dive, but swimming (when you send your uncle to your mother) is very pleasant - the water is 28-30.
If I had known in advance, I would never have gone to this hotel.
