• Good sand, clean sea (BUT this is not the merit of the hotel);
• Nice room with air conditioning and comfortable bathroom;
• Normal Internet, WiFi in the room;
• Good mattress (for me it was important);
• Well-groomed area (BUT nowhere to walk. We walked along the sea);
• Food is available practically from 7 to 21 (we are not talking about the quality of food now);
• Animation for children on schedule from 10 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 5 pm (the child liked it);
• There are 3 water slides, they also work according to the schedule (BUT only 2 worked);
• There is a rope track (BUT a completely stupid and indifferent "instructor", in case your child breaks down, this is your problem)
• Indoor swimming pool (BUT jacuzzi not working)
And now about what can ruin the rest:
• Russian is not spoken as stated (we communicated in German/English);
• Smoky everywhere (very persistent smell);
• Food - a lot of semi-finished products (desserts are almost all). You won’t stay hungry, but you won’t get pleasure either;
• Dishes (glasses, cups, cutlery) are dirty (many wrote about this);
• Skinning staff in the restaurant - students who came to earn extra money for the summer;
• For 10 days we were cleaned once (on the 7th day of stay), 2 days after contacting the reception. Changed towels twice (on the day of cleaning and when I met the staff on the corridor and made the exchange myself);
• One billiards and two table tennis for more than 720 rooms;
• “to have a great rest and enjoy the tranquility” as stated by the hotel will not work, as children (mainly 0-5 years old) screaming and “rolling tantrums” everywhere and running along the corridors from 7:00 to 00:30, as well as in the restaurant .
• …
And about NOT ACCEPTABLE:
The representative of Tez Tour, Irina Mladenova, the person from whom you expect help in a foreign country in case of a problem (we had glass in our food... ), fled, leaving us alone with the administration unwilling to help... I think this is outrageous and unacceptable (and if if you have any problems - contact the embassy, despite all the cunning entrusting of the "willing to help you" staff). Details in the attached photo (with the painting of the police and the director of the hotel).
What is definitely done is "make your stay memorable". You won't forget all that disgusting stuff.
We lived in a hotel by the sea. From the first day we liked the service, picked up a good room. There is free wi-fi. Impressed of course the balcony with a beautiful view of the sea)
The territory of the hotel itself is green, there is a swimming pool, but of course it is better to swim in the sea, it is very close here, very warm) There are also restaurants and cafes) They serve delicious cocktails, food and other drinks for every taste.
Since we came to rest, we didn’t save on ourselves) We went to the SPA, it’s very convenient that it is in the hotel itself) We also went to the gym so as not to forget about our figures and also ordered various cosmetic procedures for ourselves)
We also walked around the Golden Sands resort itself, it’s certainly cool here) There are many interesting places, cozy courtyards, there is a market, pubs, restaurants, many tourists, fountains and cozy parks) Everything in order to relax and forget a little about city life)
We didn’t pass by the water park either, we always want extreme sports, so we tested ourselves on very scary slides, the height is incredible and adrenaline in the blood)
In general, this week was filled with happiness and joy ) We are really very glad that we took this chance and had such a great vacation together ! )
About the hotel - everything is good! The rooms are spacious, good furniture, plumbing. the food is delicious and varied. Does the hotel have an outdoor pool. Nothing special. But there is also an indoor heated pool with mineral water. In May, he helped us a lot. A lot of guests came to the hotel for the May holidays. But this did not particularly affect the quality of service. Maybe only the maid did not have time to quickly get out. I was very sorry that the queue only reached us in the afternoon. At first she tried to clean those rooms where there were children. For children, this hotel is a paradise. Animators work a lot with them, there are children's pools, a playground. However, adults also have all the conditions not to be bored - this is physical exercise, aqua aerobics, water polo, learning dances (salsa). In the evening, every day a new entertainment program with invited artists, followed by a disco. In this regard, the recommendation - do not take rooms with a side sea view - very noisy. if you like silence - choose a view of the city, but side. This is a bit of the sea, and a park in which birds sing in the morning. It will be, though the construction site is visible, but it is now "frozen" and the landscape does not really spoil.
The hotel has a special Level concept. This is, as it were, a special caste, for which there are separate elite recreation areas, a more expanded set of services available at no additional charge. It probably annoys someone, but it costs extra money and since people paid it, they rightfully use it. Early in the morning in this elite zone among the pines and galloping squirrels we were engaged in energy practices and this did not stop anyone. The staff that we met did not express displeasure. On the contrary, they tried not to interfere with us, even if they had to do something in this zone.
Food: varied and tasty. Half board (breakfast + dinner) includes drinks - juices, tea, coffee (automatic), dry white, red and rose wine. The wine is of very good quality.
The hotel really cares about its guests. The entire staff is very polite, no comments, even if the guests do not behave very worthy. But the cost of rest in it is rather big. In addition, on the beach by the sea, everyone immediately becomes equal. Here both 3* and 4* equalize. Only by beach towels and bracelets can you tell who is from which hotel.
Still, when choosing a holiday in Bulgaria, I would lean towards non-urban hotels. There are luxurious resorts such as Elenite, Sunny Day or Duni. They have their own large territory, and good infrastructure, and all conditions for children.
1. The hotel is huge, beautiful. The rooms are large.
2. Meals for 4, we mostly ate chicken, it was cooked very tasty, and there was so much to choose from. Breakfasts like everyone else, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs and of course non-replaceable sausages with sausage.
3. Whoever is interested in doing sports has a chic gym fully equipped with Ketler, I would put 10+ on a 5 point scale. I have never seen such a gym in the resorts. Usually 2-3 tortured simulators and that's it.
4. There is a mini-club, the kids really liked it.
5. There is such a service as LEVEL, they had a separate restaurant, but they had dinner for 18 leva per person, blue bracelets, a separate area with sunbeds near the pools where they didn’t drive LEVEL, but the moment came when there were more blue bracelets than sunbeds and here we are laughed when the blue bangles started looking for places among us.
6. If you have chosen some sunbeds and want to lie on them, take them at 7 am.
7. Free wi-fi but some rooms do not have a wireless network, they give out a cord, because we can’t connect it to a computer, we asked to change our number.
8. The hotel is designed for families and pensioners. A company of 3 guys arrived, but there was no one to meet. ))
Conclusion: you can come there again. As experience shows, the Melia network keeps a good level in any country.
we had a voucher from 12-08 to 22-08, we only took breakfast included, because we read paid reviews about how everything is "cheap" here.
The composition of our expedition: me, my wife, the eldest daughter is 10 years old, the youngest is 1 year 9 months old.
Arrived normally, settled conditionally quickly, were at the hotel at 11, settled at 14.
We took a view of the park, in practice it is a view of an expensive and under construction hotel, the buzz is awesome all day long cars romp, in the evening people walk and yell something all the time, they asked to change the room with a sea view and with a surcharge, respectively.
They offered an option first from the other side with a view of the quarry and the sea about 3 kilometers away, they refused.
They offered a room with a sea view, opposite the dance floor, during the day everything was great. but tonight. . .
Starting from 20-30 the disco begins. . . The sound from the music breaks through the closed double-glazed windows so that the effect, as if someone is listening to music outside the window at full volume, you can guess how easy it is to put children under such accompaniments.
The request to change the number for us again has not yet been successful, you have to personally go down to them and resolve issues on the spot, they cannot do anything by phone.
About food:
Because we only have breakfasts, I can say that they never shine with variety at all, although no, they used to give fresh watermelons or melons, today they weren’t there, otherwise:
lettuce, eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, for dessert 3 types of rolls, 3 types of cakes, and so on trifles, I may have missed something, but everything is quite typical.
On the 2nd day I ate cheese and yogurt, it seemed to me that they were not the freshest, but it turned out that it did not seem so. Citizens, take activated charcoal with you and all that, it will be very useful to you here.
prices in local restaurants and cafes.
Here someone wrote about an old oak, we were there, there were no people, they brought us tea first, then everything else. Everything else turned out to be either overcooked or overdried, but at the same time quite expensive.
In general, about prices and variety, in all cafes everything is very similar and costs the same:
salads - 6-9 leva
Soups from 9.5-14 leva
juice (regular type) - from 3.5-4 leva
local beer 0.5 - from 5 leva
cocktails from 7 leva
for the second price from 15-30 leva.
pizza from 10-14 leva
I am writing this because I have already visited about 10 different places.
Grilled chicken about 30 leva
kebab - 6 leva
1 Euro - 1.90 BGN
100 rubles - 4.97 leva
I realized that if you go here, then with rubles.
All salads are a pile of lettuce and cucumbers, and sometimes corn, so don't expect any special frills. All the food is overcooked very strongly, up to a hill of black crust so that it can be eaten with great difficulty.
Many soups and mashed potatoes are made from bags, not natural, and in general they are as cunning as they can here, yesterday they ordered a dish of white fish, in short, in fact it turned out to be pollock, the dish cost about 25 leva.
It's time to go in search of food, then I will add, if anyone has questions, write
