They met us well, we did not have time for dinner, but dry rations were brought to our room. We settled on the 6th floor of the main building of the hotel. There are 2 buildings, one main 10 floors with sea views in two directions. and the second building on the 4th floor overlooking the pool and the sea. I must say right away that it is better in the main building and that the windows face the pool, since you have the whole panoramic view of the embankment in front of you, and the windows are located on the other side, they overlook the yacht club, the amphitheater (which does not work every day), a couple of cafes, and then emptiness. The room is good, the minus of the rooms is that they do not have double beds in the hotel, only single beds, but shifted next to each other. The room was cleaned every day, it is customary to pay them about 2 levs - this is 10 UAH. for cleaning, but if you don't pay, it won't make the room worse.
food: breakfasts are the same, for 14 days they did not change at all. but this is not only in our hotel, it is everywhere, in all hotels of the Golden Sands resort. For breakfast, omelettes, glazed eggs, sausages of two or three types, tomatoes, cucumbers, in other reviews I read that yoghurts are very tasty, so I take everyone out of the confusion, these are not yoghurts, but ordinary sour milk, tasty and sour : ) ) Flakes, cold and hot milk, then three types of jam, butter is a must, sweet buns, cherries or apricots, coffee (very tasteless) or tea (also not tasty). and it's day by day. a bit annoying towards the end of the holiday, as we had 14 days. They had better dinners, varied every day, and very tasty meat of 5 types (meatballs, chicken, fish, meatballs, kebabs, stuffed peppers, cabbage rolls, meat with gravy, etc. ) side dishes also changed, stewed cabbage, potatoes young, puree. pasta, rice, broccoli, boiled carrots, various salads, such as Olivier and Greek, then just tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, etc. Then there were different cakes, ice cream, but there was no tea and coffee for dinner, only for a fee (coffee costs 10 UAH). The staff does not speak any language, only Bulgarian, which made it difficult, but not much. With gestures, everyone understood everything : ))) The pool is small, I have never seen a large pool anywhere on Golden Sands, the largest depth is 140cm. Since we did not arrive at the peak of the season, there were enough sunbeds. but taking into account seasonality, sunbeds, it seems to me, are not enough. The beach on the sea is sandy, it doesn’t hurt, sunbeds are paid all over the beach, Well, so that you understand the prices, for two for 2 sunbeds and 2 mattresses. and one umbrella had to be paid per day 70-80 UAH. not less. Therefore, you can safely buy an umbrella right at the Glarus Hotel from the side of the street, if anyone needs it, for 50 UAH. and not deny yourself anything : ))) Since we had a buffet breakfast + dinner, to be honest, we wanted to eat during the day, for two in a cafe it was possible for 100 UAH. Eat well, no booze. Their portions are very large, so it is better to order one dish for two. Bulgarians cook very tasty!! ! In the evening we walked along the embankment, there was movement, as if you were entering another world, because our hotel is located at the very end of the resort, so it is quiet there. There is no animation in the hotel. But opposite the hotel animation all day long. Votel a lot of Germans and the age is already elderly. Few Russians and Ukrainians. In general, I liked everything very much, but again, depending on how much you pay for it all. Have a good holiday everyone!!!! !
