Any trip must be well prepared. The first thing we did was read the reviews about the holidays in the resorts of Bulgaria. The next weekend we went to the first travel agency that came across and asked to pick up an inexpensive tour to Bulgaria. The agency listened carefully to our wishes, then offered several options to choose from. And then a few more. Theoretically, everything suited us, but I wanted details. We asked the girl to show brochures for all the hotels, a map showing the location of these hotels, photos of the hotel itself, rooms, pools, and the distance to the sea in meters. And so the search for the optimal plan for our vacation continued until, after weighing all the pros and cons, our June trip to Bulgaria in beach and tourist colors loomed.
. Arriving at the hotel, we saw what we expected. Everything is clean, beautiful, neat. We liked it almost at first sight, although initially in the photo, it seemed unsightly. At the reception when checking into the hotel, we were greeted by smiling girls, all the staff speak Russian fluently, albeit with a slight accent. We were immediately given the keys to the room and the remote control for the air conditioner. Although they say that the first impression is deceptive, it all depends on the mood with which you arrived. We also had a great mood.
The hotel itself is quite pulling on its 3 stars, I mean the very location of the hotel, close to the promenade, restaurants, beach. We were placed on the 2nd floor. The room has air conditioning, TV, (35 satellite channels, including 5 Russian and two Ukrainian) excellent beds, new, soft mattresses with mattress toppers, clean linen and huge white towels. The room is spacious enough with a toilet, washbasin, shower, and a balcony. The balcony overlooked the park and we immediately chose it for evening gatherings (tea, beer, wine). There should be a sea behind the park, but you can't see it from the second floor.

The hotel is located in a fairly quiet area. Stormy life is not observed nearby. Very, very, very quiet hotel. The hotel would be recommended for people who want peace, for families with children. Under the windows at night no one yells, there is no music. At night life in this hotel stops. Of course, this suited us very much, so the rating of the hotel is 5+.
The hotel itself is not big, but neat and comfortable. We liked to just wander along the small stone paths or sit on a bench near the trimmed bushes and pleasantly smelling jasmine flowers (not to be confused with our mock orange).
The hotel has two swimming pools, for children, where the depth is 60-80 cm, and for adults, with a depth of 130-160 centimeters. There is a bar, a dining room (labeled "restaurant"), four cafes, and a nightclub in the basement below the dining room. The cafe on the roof offers a magnificent view of the sea. The entire territory of the hotel is in the shade of majestic trees, so it is always cool in the yard. And due to the fact that the hotel stands high on a hill, the price there is lower than that of seaside hotels. It is quiet there, because there is no animation, but the only thing that can bother you is the noise of passing cars, in case you get a room overlooking the park, behind which the highway actually passes.
The road to the beach runs between two five-star hotels, and is not a wide, winding "Potemkin" staircase, consisting of 180 steps. Exactly in the middle, through 90 steps, in the shade of subtropical trees and palms, there is a souvenir kiosk and a very cozy restaurant.
As for the "all inclusive" food or full board, I would not recommend it. The food is monotonous, they save a lot on food. The hotel restaurant itself is an ordinary dining room, crowded, stuffy, a lot of people. . . And without being attached to the hotel restaurant, you get a great opportunity to get acquainted with the variety of Bulgarian cuisine, and often even cheaper than a tour operator would offer you.

We ate differently each time. There are many different shops, cafes and other outlets on the beach and the surrounding area. A lunch set in a cafe includes a first, second and a drink or dessert, and the price of a set is 4-6 leva. Moreover, the portion size is such that we took two sets for three, and we were all full. Also bought fruits, ice cream, various pastries, french fries. They drank water, juices, beer, etc. For two days, when the weather was cloudy with clearings, we decided not to go to the beach, swam in the pool, sunbathed on sun loungers, and had lunch at a local cafe. Here they served directly near the pool, food and drinks were taken out to sun loungers under umbrellas.
We dined in cozy cafes or restaurants on the embankment and not only. I would especially like to note the restaurant that is located on the 90th step. We got a triple pleasure: to sit in the heat in a cool place, at least outside, in the shade of subtropical trees with a beautiful view of the sea. It didn't take long to figure out the menu. There, all the dishes were written in 4 languages: Bulgarian, Russian, English and German. Near each name is a photo of the dish, so you can't go wrong. In addition, it is really tasty to eat and it is unrealistic to pay little for it. For example, for a full meal, for three adults, with drinks, we paid about 30 leva, which is about 240 UAH, the course is: 1 lev - 8 UAH, or 2 lev - 1 euro. According to Ukrainian salaries, this is quite acceptable. And the best part, as soon as we sat down at the table, they immediately brought us a misted bottle of cold water...
