Etara Hotel is not a hotel but an apartment. Meals are not provided. We ate ourselves in local taverns, we bought the necessary products in stores. The rooms are clean and tidy. Cleaned mediocre, didn't try too hard. Dust in the corners was ignored. Towels and bedding were not changed. There were enough towels in the room.

Not far from the sea, 5 min. on foot. The beach is free, but if you want to use the sunbeds, you have to pay.
The rest was calm and measured, we enjoyed it. Bulgaria is a hospitable country, we will come again!

Good afternoon! I will be glad if my review helps. My family and I went to Bulgaria for the first time, I heard a lot of good things from my friends. Before that, we rested in Crete, Mallorca, Turkey... I am writing this so that it is clear that, of course, I compared. And so, my parents, two children 4 and 6 years old and I went to rest from the company "Delta", as they write the hotel "Etara" 4.

We flew to Burgas wonderfully, we go out and look at the sign of the meeting party... and I don’t see it. I went around everything Stoics, called by phone, an hour later it turned out that no one was going to meet us and was not going to, their car broke down. They did not warn us. They told us to get there ourselves. Well, here, quietly began to lose nerves. We took a taxi (their rates are interesting) until I asked for a check, so that later I would be compensated for the costs, because I still paid for the transfer in Moscow.
About the hotel... In the "Delta" they write 50 meters from the sea... In reality, the situation is this. From the building "Etara, 1 Etara near the sea and there are never any free rooms, or more precisely, apartments, 2 and 3 Etara on the same line near the road, but from the second Etara the road is beautiful, but with a steep climb. When we were settled in 2 Etara, but I didn’t understand what was happening. At the entrance we were given the keys and told to go up to the 4th floor without an elevator with suitcases. I opened the door and saw a good 3-room apartment. I went to look for a reception, this is a separate story...
In general, when I realized that we were deceived, and that these are just apartments and no one wants to listen and relocate too, and the Bulgarian side does not understand why Delta is selling these apartments as a hotel, I thought that we should accept that the company "Delta" are businessmen whose goal is to make money now, and what will happen later and do not care.
The morning is wiser than the evening . . I want to say that Bulgaria itself, as a country, really liked it. Good people, open. We took a trip to the Bulgarian village of Bata. Very bright and positive. The kids were interested in us too. We were treated very tasty and entertained.
The sea was different. There are a lot of algae. Something was picked up in the sea (a stick or it was poison algae) everyone had diarrhea. I always take a first aid kit, it comes in handy.
Beautiful town of Nessebar. We got from St. Vlas by boat. The pier is near Etara, you can also buy tickets here. A trip for the whole day, there are many ancient churches.
Buy groceries at the Mladost store, all locals buy there.
I got the impression that there are few full-fledged hotels in Bulgaria and that mostly people live in apartments.
In general, it is necessary to clarify where you will still live and not be upset.

I want to share my impressions about the rest in the Etara complex, he is Etara only in Bulgarian. It started off bad. They decided to entrust the organization of the holiday to the well-known company Solveks (Sofia branch), they hoped that this company could be trusted, but it turned out that not everything was so rosy in reality.

Upon arrival, it turned out that the information about the complex, as well as the photos on the site, do not quite correspond to reality. The fact is that the Etara complex consists of 3 parts: Etara-1.2, 3. And the information on the agency's website, like most of the pictures, namely the pictures with the pool, in which we hoped to swim, all this concerned Etara-1 and 2, which are one whole complex. But Etara-3 is a large building, standing separately on a hill. From the rest of Etar, the third part is separated by a huge wasteland, there is no beach near the third part. You have to get to the beach through other hotels, while parts 1 and 2 are 3-4 storey houses located parallel to each other, between them there is a path leading directly to the sea, inside parts 1 and 2 there is a lot of greenery and very beautiful. So we paid for the pictures of parts 1 and 2, and we were sent to live just in part 3. Naturally, Solvex did not report the difference between the parts of the complex. As for Etara-3, this is an apartment complex, the owners of the apartments are mostly Russian. Our apartment consisted of a bedroom and a living room with a kitchen. Judging by our apartment for 4 stars, of course it doesn’t pull, 3 with an interference. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking (dishes, stove, refrigerator, toaster, kettle, etc. When we entered, the room was not very clean, especially the sofa was very dirty. But the next day everything was cleaned. Each day the cleaning lady came while we were at the sea and laid out our things, made the bed, washed the ashtrays, cleaning for a fee, I think 10 euros On the beach, sun loungers and umbrellas cost 6 + 6 leva, which is about 6 euros The beach is free i. e. if you don't want to pay for a sun lounger, you can just sunbathe on the sand. We had coupons for sun loungers and umbrellas, this was included in the price of the holiday. About the reception, the main reception is located in the Diamant Hotel, 10 minutes walk from Etara. In the complex itself on weekdays there is an administrator who can be contacted. There is one cafe, they did not dare to eat there, sanitary conditions are not very good, flies are everywhere. As for the Internet, you can buy access cards from the administrator of the complex or at the main reception, the price is 15 leva (7.5 euros), valid for 7 days. Regarding vacationers: 80% are Russians, mostly pensioners with grandchildren and mothers with small children, Russian is spoken everywhere. Yes, on the territory of Etara-1 there is a Georgian restaurant, a little expensive, but tasty. For example, one skewer with 5 small pieces of pork costs 23 leva (12 euros). The atmosphere around is very calm, there are no discos, you sleep in silence at night, not like in Sunny Beach. Quiet, bless. In general, the holiday went well.

Rested in Bulgaria from 18 to 28 July 2011, three adults and a child of 2.5 years. We chose Etatu because I needed home cooking for my child. From the declared standard list there is no hair dryer, microwaves. oven, safe, one pot and one frying pan (how is it possible to cook lunch and dinner in it for a family of 4 people? ).

From the declared standard list there is no hair dryer, microwaves. oven, safe, one pot and one frying pan (how is it possible to cook lunch and dinner in it for a family of 4 people? ). The room is clean, but oooooooooooooooooooooooo modest, with white walls like a hospital. Cleaning in the room: a separate issue, it cannot be said that they do not clean it at all, but the towels were changed only on the 4th day, and the bed was generally changed once during the rest, and then, because I had to go and swear with the administrator!
Yes, an important point: the hotel does not have a reception, so if you suddenly need to ask or ask for something, then there is actually no one ((((and no one will listen to your claims. We wanted to get a stroller for the child (for a fee), but...
The pool for children and adults is combined, so if you like to swim in clear water, then you are out of luck, the children throw different pieces of poop into the pool, and they will remove it only in the morning and then maybe; ) it is generally strangely cleaned, washed on the side with a brush and all the dirt immediately flows into the pool.
The road to the sea lies through other hotels, many descents and ascents, metal steps along a very steep cliff. We went on different versions of the road and we were not satisfied with any of them. It is very hard after a day spent under the sun to climb a mountain with a small child in her arms.
The prices for a deck chair and an umbrella are the same as everywhere in Bulgaria 7 + 7 lev. Beer in a stinky bar on the beach 5 leva (2.5 euros), corn 2.5 leva, etc. eat in a local restaurant 3 main courses, a herring appetizer and Shopska salad, 3 glasses of wine - 145 lev (72 euros), etc. there is nothing cheap in Saint Vlas!
In general, Etara is not really a hotel, these are apartments bought by locals and rented out. Therefore, the conditions in the room may differ... in communication with other vacationers, only for the worse.
We will not go to Bulgaria anymore, especially to Etara!
