We took a ticket from the Chisinau travel agency Simexim-Tur for early booking at the beginning of February. We were given tickets only after I reminded that we had not received them yet, visas were issued for more than a month, because they forgot to tell us that we also needed to bring certificates from work, and I got the impression that if I I didn’t call periodically, then they would simply forget about us, although they took the money for the ticket in advance back in February.
At the last moment, it turned out that we would not have a transfer, although I paid for it and even clarified it. It turned out that at that time we were the only ones going to Sozopol and no one would go there for us. At my insistence, at least the money for the transfer was returned.
The adventures did not end there - we were dropped off at 5 am in Sunny Beach at the bus stop. One of the drivers immediately approached us and offered to give us a lift to Sozopol for 100 euros. But we waited until 6 am when the city bus went, paid 1 lev for a ticket to the bus station, 6 lev to Burgas and another 4.5 lev to Sozopol. Thus, the trip as a whole cost us 23 lev or 11 euros for two.

1 lev = 0.5 euros. By the way, the bus runs exactly on schedule every half an hour.
We were in Sozopol at about 9 o'clock in the morning, we quickly found our hotel, but that was not all! The owner Bonka told us that we should go to another hotel - Starfish, as they are the host. Let's go there, and there we They said that no one paid for us and we can go home!
The hostess said that there is another Teddy Kam intermediary who has problems and our hotel rooms are not paid. In addition to us, 22 more people from different countries were in the same situation. We went to look for where to buy a card for a mobile phone, called Chisinau to the director of the company, she said that this could not be, that everything had been paid. In general, it took us two days to negotiate, then one of the "victims" filed an application with the court and they began to deal with us personally. In short, for us paid only after 6 days, all this time we lived on bird's rights and on nerves. The rest, of course, was spoiled.
Now about the rest itself - we liked the hotel, however, there were problems with plumbing - water was constantly flowing under your feet when you wash your face. The shower is not separated by any curtain, so after taking a shower, the entire bathroom is flooded with water. The "excellent" sound permeability was also annoying - even the voices behind the wall and in the corridor could be heard, not to mention the draining of water in the bathroom and toilet of the neighbors on all floors. In addition, a noisy pump was periodically turned on in a neighboring hotel, which also interfered a lot, especially at night. We were in September, there were practically no people in the hotel, and what can I say in the season ?!
The location of the hotel is very good, close to the sea. Along the waterfront there are shops, stalls with goods and food.
True, somewhere around September 15, they all curled up.

We bought products for breakfast at the supermarket "Bolero" on Republicanskaya street, 10 corner of Odessa street. There is a very large selection and good prices: Greek natural olives - 6.6 lev / kg, Camembert cheese 2.69 lev / 400g, a box of Turkish cheese - lukuma 1.25 lev, bacon 4.10 lev/300g, multi-grain bread 1.23 lev, airan 0.99 lev/500g, sour milk 2.9% 0.92 lev/400g, goat cheese 7 lev/kg, red wine Mavrud 7 99 lev/0.75 l, chicken cutlets 0.85 lev/pc.
We dined in different places: first in the Starfish, as we were given a coupon for a 10% discount due to our troubles - pileshki soup - 2.2 lev, pileshki sach - 13.8 lev, pirzhola (roast) 15.6 lev , shepherd's salad - 5.4 lev, pork kyufte (cutlets) - 1.8 lev. But most often in the bistro Milena on the corner of Republicanskaya and Odessa streets. village salad - 2.6 lev, shepherd's salad - 4 lev, mixed salad - 2.3 lev, I really liked the fried cheese breaded "kashkaval pane" 4 lev, the liver on the grill - 3 lev, kavurma (did not really like it) 4 lev, Muscat Burgas vodka - 2 lev / 50g, beer - 1.5-2.5 lev.
A couple of times they were in Borun on Odessa street, they took mussels in Greek sauce 6 lev, rapanov-8.5 lev (not impressed, because they were very tough), in Rybarskaya Sreshcha at the bus station they took fish tsatsu 4.7 lev obviously, the oil was used more than once) and riben chorbu-2.9 lev, although everywhere it costs from 1.5 to 2 lev.
We dined a couple of times in the old town in the cafe "Zoya's", took mussels pane there - 6.9 lev, yummy! I liked horse mackerel there - 11.9 lev.
We bought fruits at the market on the way to the Old Town. We went to the market behind the bus station, but we didn’t like it, there was little choice. And so we ate figs from the belly from 3.5 to 8 leva, pomegranates - 4 lev, watermelons, melons, grapes, pears , apples and peaches.
We tried palanchinki (pancakes), but they did not make any impression on us, just like Bulgarian ice cream.
There is no special entertainment in Sozopol, except how to go to the Old Town in the evening or wander along the rocks. We went back and forth on a train several times, wandered along the sea. Figs, dates, olives, persimmons, jujube, pomegranates, many flowers grow on the streets . The Old Town itself is beautiful, reminiscent of Nessebar.
