I rested with my granddaughter (5 pets) in Sozopol. The impression is twofold. Sozopol is a good town, more or less clean, quite green, the sea is shallow, warm, but... The beach at 34 is occupied by private umbrellas and sun loungers, the cost of which ranges from 7 to 10 Euros per day. Therefore, the bulk of vacationers huddle in the remaining territory, where it is very crowded.
Hotels in the city do not have their own beach. Hotel "Villa List" can be rated as 2+. Positive - close to the sea, swimming and children's entertainment. Room - 10 sq. m, bathroom - 3 sq. m, balcony and entrance hall - 1 sq. m. Bed linen was not changed for 9 days, although it was cleaned every day. The air conditioner works from 14 to 18 hours and from 12 to 6 in the morning. Most of the rooms face the street, where it is very noisy and there is no greenery. There is no mention of any park area. Soap, gel, shampoo are given only upon arrival, and then buy it yourself... The food is so-so, you will not be hungry, but there may be problems with a child due to the specifics of the Bulgarian cuisine. My granddaughter refused to eat and had to look for a restaurant with Russian-Ukrainian cuisine. It’s difficult to eat normally for 6 levs, really, for 10-12 levs. In principle, I didn’t give a damn about all the inconveniences and rested normally, but I won’t go there again.
