To everyone who is going to this hotel, be prepared for surprises from the Internet and the hotel administration.
1. In Sozopol there is a hotel Selena, there is also Selena Beach. Both are 3 *, which is why the Internet gives them out on request in a bunch. Drivers also strive to confuse hotels.
Selena Beach3* is located on Via Pontica. It is about 1 km from "Veselaya street", the local "Deribasovskaya".
So, a surprise from the hotel: Selena Beach actually lodges its guests in a nearby villa, Vila Pontica. In Selena, places are busy - live, dear guests, side by side. No one bothered to announce this in advance. It's like the second building of the hotel. But what was the point then for us to look at the pictures of the Selena Beach Hotel ???
Surprise No. 2: instead of the paid 2 double rooms for 4 tourists, the hotel administration provides one apartment type room.
This is a 2-room suite with one toilet/shower.

The question is, why should I go on my vacation, for my own money, this hostel ?? ? In general, the Bulgarians could not clearly explain where our rooms paid for according to the early booking scheme were. True, then there was information that tourists from Scandinavia had stopped by and therefore the rooms were occupied.
I assume that the Bulgarians were seized with a thirst for profit and our rooms were presold, and they decided to simply "compact" us, settling in 1 room. But such a number did not work with the young ladies from Odessa.
The administration, realizing the seriousness of our intentions to call the Bulgarian and Odessa tour operator, cheerfully offered for two a 2-bed room at the Relax Hotel, which is 15 meters from Selena. By the way, in fact it is "Relax" in the 1st line, and not Selena or her appendage Vila Pontica. These two hotels got the 1st line partially and by accident - it’s just that there is a building site in front of them, a kind of wasteland (of which there are a couple more nearby, because the area is freshly built), through which you go, by the way, to the beach. As soon as the hotel is built, no one else will see the sea from the Selena. Even now only a part of it is visible because of the first line of hotels...
Regarding the "lush garden surrounding the hotel" - there is no garden. There are well-groomed plants on the territory. And a very nice pavilion. And a playground - 1 for a slide + 1 for a swing. Wifi is good though. : )
By the way, God forbid you fall for the "park side" - it's just windows overlooking the road. The road is flush with the windows of the 2nd floor, walking tourists, Bulgarian drivers who like to honk - the pleasure is extremely doubtful.
About the restaurant. Not even 3 stars, but 2. The waiters are proud birds, you won’t kick, they won’t move. Girls are faster than guys. Those generally periodically become deaf and dumb and just stupidly silent.

About language. The local population of 30 and older speaks excellent Russian. Young people are trying to show off and pretend that they understand only Bulgarian and English. . It's strange to see this in a Slavic country. . . And it's sad. How long have they become such Englishmen???

Well, okay . . In the form of compensation for our relocation and a broken company, the hotel management, at our insistence, gave us a 15% discount to the restaurant. Not offended guests were given 10%. We were constantly asked if we were satisfied with everything, etc.
The host country (Aya Tour) on the penultimate day sent its employee, who was supposed to accommodate us. He says he was sick. He dragged a case of wine in the form of compensation.
I must tell you that although the Bulgarians screwed up, they tried to correct the situation, especially after a call from the Kiev representative of Gamalia, from whom we took the tour. That was the situation.
By the way, be careful with the kitchen in the hotel - once they served sour fish soup. Returned back. They also served sour eggplant caviar. In general, what is prepared in advance can "play up". The rest of the dishes are normal, tasty, at reasonable prices.
Breakfast buffet: brynza-cheese-olives-tomatoes-cucumbers-sausages-scrambled eggs-fruits-pastry. Not luxurious, but quite edible and in sufficient quantity. Reminds me of Turkey.
I can say in summary: a holiday in Bulgaria is good, it is quite suitable for youth companies and moms and dads with children. Not expensive, no language barrier, warm sea, wide beaches. Rooms are cleaned daily, tips are not taken, towels are changed on time. .
Of the minuses - a tiring bus ride and unforeseen surprises from hotel employees.
