We were in Bulgaria with my husband in July 2011. Villa "Fani" turned out to be quite nice. The rooms are different. We were on the 4th floor under a roof. Thanks to this, the room has sloping ceilings, which gives it romance and comfort. I was visiting the neighbors downstairs - their room is not so cozy, although it is also quite pleasant. All rooms are clean - cleaning every day. Towels are provided - 1 per person. Change once a week.
A very pleasant hostess - a sweet kind woman who speaks and understands Russian well. She keeps order in the rooms. She is very responsive, for example, if you need a hair dryer, you can ask her for it and even get what you want : )
Room. As already noted, bright, clean, neat, small, cozy. There is: mini-fridge, double bed, wardrobe, TV (not useful), kettle, 2 bedside tables.

There is a balcony with a table and 2 chairs. From the balcony there is a beautiful view of the city of Sozopol and the sea. But during the day it is impossible to sit there - the sun bakes very much (there is no visor as such).
Bathroom. Clean, there is a sink, toilet, shelves and a shower - but without a shower stall. When you wash, you stand right on the tiles, and the water flows into a hole in the floor. I didn't like it very much. There is a large mirror in the bathroom door.
The villa stands above the road and near a park with a cafe, so for those who lived lower, it was noisy.
"Infrastructure". There is a small, but nice, courtyard with many plants, flowers and... a washstand. There are a lot of plants on the stairs too - the hostess Rumyana loves flowerpots and plants the room with taste. There is an inexpensive shop in the basement of the villa. Across the road is a park where it is good to walk with children. If you go a little down behind the villa, you can find a kiosk with inexpensive "banichki" - delicious Bulgarian pastries and a rather cheap cafe-dining room. However, Sozopol is a small city in a day or two, you can explore it and find acceptable places for yourself to eat and buy. Oh buy. It is best (for prices, and for choice) to buy at the bazaar and in the supermarket.
Close to the sea - 5-7 minutes walk. To the Old City - 20-30 minutes on foot.
Despite some issues, living conditions are quite acceptable.
So, the disadvantages: the lack of a shower stall; maybe: hot balcony, noisy; with a view - how lucky.
Advantages: good hostess; clean, comfortable; the room has a refrigerator and a kettle, near a park and a shop; close to the beach; beautiful green courtyard; can be a very nice view from the balcony.
Summary. We would quite agree to stay at Villa Fani again.
