For a very long time I chose a hotel and a tour operator to visit Bulgaria.
The three of us went on our long-awaited vacation - me, my husband (who was abroad for the first time) and my 9-year-old son.
We were limited in finances, so I considered economy class hotels, read reviews on various sites, talked with hotel visitors and made my own conclusions.
From tour operators, I discarded resellers, chose first-hand tours, and looked for cheaper prices (in fact, the spread of prices for the same hotel from different tour operators reaches up to 100%, or even more).
This year, Intourist had the most interesting offers of Bulgaria in terms of price, in comparison with other tour operators, when departing from Moscow. We are from Petrozavodsk, so it was all the same for us to fly from Moscow or St. Petersburg, but for some reason the price level from St. Petersburg was much higher for all tour operators.

Intourist had about 15 hotels at about the same price. After reading the reviews, we chose the Briz hotel in the city of Sozopol.
An interesting point, on the day of booking, the price for three people with an air flight for breakfast for 15 days was 865 euros (an additional visa, but this year Schengen is possible - 35 euros per person), and the next day at Intourist the same hotel cost 10 thousand euros. rubles more.
About the tour operator - everything is wonderful, the meeting party in Bulgaria Alma Holidays, transfer to the hotel by minibus, accompaniment of a travel agent who gave us her contact details, on the third day of our stay a meeting with her, an offer of excursions, and the day before our departure at the reception there was information about the time of our departure from the hotel. Everything is excellent, unobtrusive.
Briz Hotel is a family-type hotel, 4 floors, each with 4 rooms, an elevator!! ! with panoramic sea views. Our room is on the 3rd floor, we went into the room and were stunned - a fairy tale! For 3* in Bulgaria, where the service is soviet, or even, as a rule, former pioneer camps with crumbling Soviet-era furniture without air conditioning and broken TV remotes, the Briz hotel is simply a miracle! Capital construction building with zero audibility from neighboring rooms, new plumbing, combined bathroom, spacious, lockable shower!! ! (in Bulgaria, as a rule, there are no cabins in hotels, just a drain - a hole in the floor, it doesn’t bother me, but a shower cabin is just respect for the hotel! ). The room is spacious, double bed and single bed, additional double sofa bed. Of the furniture - a double-leaf wardrobe, a dressing table, a three-leaf screen (cool, I see this for the first time, and why is it? ), a desk, a mirror above it, a round table, an ottoman, a bedside table. From the equipment - a mini refrigerator hidden in the bedside table, a TV with a bunch of channels, including 4 Russian ones, air conditioning. The hotel is new, so the furniture and appliances are new and everything is in excellent condition. Turning on the electricity in the room - inserted the key fob into the switch groove - the light appeared in the entire room, removed the key fob, the room was de-energized, but the refrigerator continues to work, everything was done according to the mind.

A separate corner balcony (there is no one that went out onto the balcony, and the neighbors on the left and right can see what you are doing), high railings (sometimes I read negative things about other hotels that the railings are low and children can fall out). Swallows built a nest on the balcony in the corner, Bulgarians are very fond of these birds and are kind to their nests, 2 small chicks lived in the nest, which their parents flew in to feed, during our stay the chicks grew up and flew out of the nest, it was interesting to watch)) .
Service: the floor in the room is tile (which is most acceptable on a beach holiday in my opinion), cleaning is daily, wonderful. Change of linen - it seemed to me as it got dirty, because the linen soiled by us with cream on the 3rd day (the costs of a beach holiday) was changed immediately for all of us. Linens are all new and white. Toilet paper (I apologize for the details) is two-layer and perforated (I haven’t even seen this in Bulgarian stores) one roll in use, the attendant was always on duty.
Location of the hotel: sea view, the sea was visible to us from the balcony in the gap between the two hotels in front. The beach at the exit from the hotel is very close, 70 meters. And when walking along the coast for about 200-300 meters, you can find the sea for every taste, with and without algae, the entrance is shells or sand, the depth is knee-deep or immediately deep, and even in a storm you can find where to swim in the same interval, there is a huge wave right there, and you go right in 2 steps, and it doesn’t storm (the wave, but calm). Along the coast, umbrellas and sunbeds are paid, for 6 lions a sunbed and an umbrella, but above and below the umbrellas - a free zone without a shadow, it is possible to use it for free. An umbrella on the market costs 8 lev, many people buy it for a vacation period, then throw it away.
Staff: A beautiful Russian-speaking woman Nadya meets upon arrival, she always smiles, you can contact her with any question - everyday questions, how to get where to go, she also gives free use of her laptop to those who do not have it with them (wi-fi is free in the hotel) . Also, the hostesses of the hotel - 2 women, also speak Russian very well, often appear at the hotel, are always friendly, friendly, and ready to help in everything. The rest of the staff (bar service, maids) speak less Russian, but Russian and Bulgarian are so close in origin that you can always understand everything at the level of pantomime and intuition. Everyone is very friendly and smiling. And when we rested, and our son categorically refused to sleep in the room, he spent time at the reception with Nadia, who became like family to us.

Breakfast: We do not have breakfast in the morning, so this question was irrelevant for us. The hotel does not have a restaurant, only a bar, and a breakfast of this kind - thermoses with coffee, boiling water for tea in bags of several varieties, fruit drinks in a carafe, milk - these are drinks. Bread, butter, jam, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, cold cuts, cakes, some microwave sausages, fruits (everything is very fresh), maybe I missed something, because they rarely had breakfast, in general, family-style breakfast. Our child of 9 years old went there daily and devoured everything and was happy. We had our own Finnish instant coffee with us, to which we are accustomed, we were always poured hot boiling water at the reception, which we could take to the room.
Rest in the hotel Breeze was a fairy tale for us!! ! And what could be better for a family than a vacation in excellent conditions with excellent service, excellent staff on the very beach!! !
