Bulgaria is a beautiful, friendly country.
1) Hotel: From the outside, of course, it looks like a sovdep, but inside it’s a normal renovation, we had room 220 overlooking the promenade and the Laguna Park hotel. We settled only after 14.00, no matter how early you arrive, you will still be waiting. We were not at a loss, went for a walk along the promenade and had a bite to eat, and after that, the check-in took exactly a minute. All the girls from the reception and the boys - the staff is always with a sweet smile, unfortunately, they do not speak either Russian or English, but they clearly expressed themselves in Bulgarian, then they constantly said hello even in the evening on the promenade, if you ask, they try very hard to explain everything. The hotel is located on the main street, nearby, across the road there is a stop Freshness from here there is a bus to Nessebar, across the road directly from the bus station you can get to Varna and Burgas.
2) Meals: We only had breakfast, but it was very satisfying. Fried eggs, hot sandwiches (there is an air grill), cheeses and sliced sausage, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, sausages, macaroni and cheese or cheese, bannitsa (national pie with cheese), watermelons, oranges and apples, muesli, milk, tea, coffee and juices. So you won't go hungry. And there are a lot of cafes for lunch and dinner in the district, the prices are inexpensive, but I would not advise the quickly promoted Condor, the prices are too high, the food is not very good. We liked the cafe right behind the bus station, a la a family cafe, everyone quickly makes prices cheaper, portions are larger and tastier.

3) Supermarket: The largest supermarket in the area is Mladost supermarket. You have to walk for about 10 minutes from Freshness down to the vegetable warehouses (you will hear them by the smell), then turn left and all the way there you will see a red two-story building, this is Mladost. Prices are just pennies for everything. Groceries on the first floor, household goods on the second. We gorged ourselves on peaches, watermelons, battered calamari, and mussel risotto (there are ready meals).
There is also a Zora network, one of them is located right next to the beach, very convenient.
4) Shopping: In Bulgaria you can buy a lot of interesting things and especially local production, of good quality. There is, for example, the company Venix, they do everything in the marine theme of excellent quality cotton, the price is 3 euros for a T-shirt and 4 jackets. Souvenir - the choice is crazy, the prices are the same everywhere, only in the dutik it is 10 times more expensive. Very interesting little things in the Old Town of Nessebar, you should look for something unusual there. We went shopping in Burgas, there in the mall there are very cool things of local or Yugoslav production at reasonable prices, there is also Carrefour, the prices there are the cheapest of all supermarkets.
5) Prices: Bus to Nessebar 1 lev. Bannitsa in the bakery 80 stotinki or 1 lev. Herbal tea 80 stotinki pack. Peaches 2.40 kilograms. Grilled trout in a cafe from 6 to 10 lev. Salad with tuna - 450 gr. 4 leva.
6) Country: The country is similar to Ukraine, only more Europeanized. It was very interesting to visit the Bulgarian village, the people are wonderful, kind people, the attitude is excellent. Everywhere there is a lot of greenery, and of course the beautiful sandy beaches of the Black Sea.
Bottom line: Impressions are only the best. The sun, the sea, a lot of pleasant things and you are happy!
