We came to the festival with a group of children. The festival went well. But the service provided by the hotel management is just disgusting. Most importantly, children's meals are organized as a buffet. In reality, this means that whenever you bring the children, the tables are dirty (the dishes do not have time to be removed, the tablecloths are in the remnants of food). The dining room (loudly called the restaurant) is designed for 300 people. But the owner of the hotel (Someone from Moldova) really invites children to eat from neighboring hotels. And as a result, at least 650-700 people pass through the restaurant. Crush among aunts and no one can change that. Eating in an organized way is not possible. If you take a dish, then where to sit you have to look very much. Then independently remove the remnants of food and dirt from the table and sit down. It is not possible to seat a group of children at adjacent tables. The restaurant is constantly busy. Because of all this confusion, some children are not eating well. The leaders of many groups of children, when communicating with us, said that gastrointestinal diseases in the group are constant. In our group of 24 people, 6 people were ill. And with each patient, it is imperative to go to the doctor and provide follow-up care for him. It happened that in the queue to the doctor had to wait more than an hour. And shipping is very scary.
This is one of the episodes. There are many more complaints. This and the petty management of the hotel. Passports are taken away upon check-in and not returned until departure. And another 10 euros for each. Also up to eviction. So take 10-20 euros more. They can use it as some kind of penalty. What is constantly threatened. Alfa Service Company has such an employee Grigory Sapotel (probably also from Moldova). He can promise you a lot of everything that can be provided to you during your stay. Even the Internet. But in fact, you need to know that this person does not return change. If you go on a tour, then do not give him and others more money than they should. If you give him money in euros, then he can give you change in leva, but at the exchange rate that is most necessary for him. We received our change of 3 euros with a scandal for 5 days. And then we were accused of pettiness. Don't let them fool you and claim yours. They are cheating. Even if they sell you bracelets to enter the hotel to replace the lost ones. At first, we were told the cost of the bracelet was 2 leva (it's just a plastic strap and children can easily cut it off because of its fragility). By the end of the second week, the cost was already 5 leva. The price is determined arbitrarily.
There are many other complaints about the Serdika Hotel and the "ALFA Service" company. This company could help in solving everyday problems. But she only promises to sort it out, but she DOES NOT SOLVE the real problems arising from the management of the hotel and restaurant, a dirty pool and lack of Internet. It seems that the owner of the hotel and this company is the same. In 2010, the rest in the city of Obzor was much better. If not the Bulgarian sun, the sea, attractions and shops, then the rest would not have been a success. So don't take trips to Hotel Serdika 3 stars and don't contact the company "ALFA Service" and you will spend your vacation without sadness and worries.
And do not forget that money should be exchanged only in a bank. You won't lose anything on exchange rate differences. There are a lot of scammers around exchangers. This is absolutely accurate.
