I'll clarify right away: the so-called "Metropol" is not mentioned anywhere (except on the key, with five stars punched... ). In fact, this is just the second building of the "Seagull", located at a depth in relation to the "first" line and having a through passage from the first line to a parallel street. In the middle of the "courtyard" - a swimming pool. Sunbeds occupied from six or seven in the morning. The funny thing is that we were not lucky with the weather in full: out of 14 days, only 4 days, not counting the day of arrival, were sunny. And even on cool days the sunbeds were busy. . .
Acquaintance with the hotel immediately sobered us up. Resettlement occurs only from 14-00 local time. If you arrive early in the morning, you will have to leave your luggage in a storage room (and take this little room by storm before check-in) and walk (possibly in the heat) until 2 pm. Food, of course, is your problem.
I will talk about the "Seagull" itself, because. We go to the beach through the main building. On the beach line - the promenade, the hotel looks fabulous. It is located next to the beach, convenient. The airport is nearby, 30 km. You can buy almost everything on the promenade. Not far from the coastline (10 min walk - the main highway of Sunny Beach). There are enough "party" places for young people, there are many attractions on the coast in the evening: from a primitive trampoline to adrenaline flights on rubber bands. Live music in many restaurants, as well as discos for young people.
Two pools, one inside the yard, the other (smaller) - in front of the "Seagull". No places. One hill for small children. No greenery. Spa services (sauna, manicure, etc. ) are paid. 120 degrees (200 rubles for our money). We never caught WiFi (probably because it's free. . . ) But in the first cafe - no problem.
Dirty. They clean up very badly. Our relatives in the next room constantly fought for towels - they left one small and one bath for three. There is nothing to say about the foot. The maid put it only on the day of arrival and it lay before departure. True, then we threw everything there in a row, because there is no shower stall, and water from the shower poured everywhere. The sink has never been washed, including the mirror. The beds were made ugly. My six year old daughter does it better. Bed linen was changed once. We discovered this when my husband's foot got stuck in a new duvet cover hole. The floor is covered with carpet. This is convenient, because the constantly brought sand is not as noticeable as on the tile. There is a strong smell from the carpet on the floor. It has already been noted here about problems with elevators that cannot cope with the number of people and periodically do not work. Go down on foot in the morning.
Russian is spoken only at the reception and in the Spa, but, in principle, we communicated without problems. About readiness to come to the rescue - strongly said. When one elderly tourist from Moscow tried to get her to be shown a license for "stardom", everyone forgot the Russian language. But this lovely lady has collected extensive photographic material and is applying to the prosecutor's office for a tour operator.
We had half board (breakfast + dinner). When we tried (for a fee) to take tea for a child in a bar, we were made to understand by facial expressions that we had no right to do so. I have no words. Tea can be drunk only at breakfast, then it is not customary to drink tea with them.
The toilet in front of the dining room shocked me the most (I can’t dare to call it a “restaurant”): it was dirty, there was no toilet paper, only one sink didn’t work, and, excuse me, the pot itself is shaped like a barrel - if you can put napkins on the seat, then about the toilet you still get dirty. And the smell. . .
By the way, this is an exception to the rule and applies only to the hotel. In general, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that at every step on the streets there are toilets, M and F separately, and very clean, even on marketplaces.
Nutrition - this is the field for conversation. I repeat: after other resorts, we were in a complete trance. Children in our canteen did not eat (only ice cream in the evening). Not tasty, small selection of food. Tea only in the morning, with a fight, because queues everywhere. Not enough sugar, no napkins, no glasses. The water in the cooler is from the tap (the Bulgarians themselves admitted). Tablecloths are not changed, only turned over. The lower (long) tablecloths are simply black, they are walked on. Rice and pasta stuck together, salads - the same cold pasta, only with different additives and sour sauce. The glorious Bulgarian yogurt in this diner is just sour yogurt. We took it from the store. In general, after a couple of days we came to the dining room with our own glasses, sugar, tea and butter, because. they gave me margarine. Regular breakfast: fried eggs, scrambled eggs, eggs in the shell, fried bacon, fried sausages, "Yogurt", fruits from compote, a few jams, buns, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, something like sausage, pate.
At lunchtime we went to a cafe. We found two very good restaurants where the child could eat delicious soup. The portions are large, inexpensive and tasty.
Wonderful beach, especially for children. We were not lucky with the sea - there was cold water, black biting beetles and algae in the water. Sunbeds for 7 leva (140 rubles), an umbrella as well. Since the sun did not spoil us, this was not a problem.
There is no entertainment program at the hotel. If it were not for the trampolines and attractions on the promenade and live music in cafes where the kids could dance, the children would have nothing to do! It was cold in the sea, in the pool - too. But the whole beach was dug up!

It's just that if we add to 90 thousand (for two + a child, with visas) all the money that we spent on "accompanying" food expenses, we could well rest in our favorite 4 + * hotel in Marmaris "all inclusive" in the warm sea and without rain. I just arrived from Bulgaria and immediately at the computer, because my emotions are in full swing ! ! The rest did not work out from the very resettlement, as confirmation of our ticket was allegedly not found. Russian speakers are not met here with bread and salt... they prefer Germans, Englishmen, and so on.

Let's start with the fact that the bed was never changed for us....room cleaning consisted of changing toilet paper and garbage collection! With any claim... complete ignorance of the Russian language! If the room still corresponded to the stars, then the restaurant was clearly 2 **! ! monotony of food . . not enough tables... rudeness of the staff and the constant struggle for a free table! little children to feed almost 4em! ! Many couples with whom I spoke were shocked by what they saw! ! After reading the reviews before the trip, I closed my eyes to many things, not believing and not attaching importance to what was written! O4EVEN IN vain! !
