BUT! The staff is lying! On the day of check-in, we rented a baby cot and paid the rent for 8 nights. Didn't take any payment document. On the eve of departure, we offered the administrator (the same lady who settled us) to pick up the crib. She "kindly" offered us to leave her in the room, so to speak, "to give one more night" until the very departure.
The next day, another administrator was on duty, who billed us for renting a bed (the entire amount that we had already paid) as well as
exorbitantly high bill for phone calls from the room. I called Russia from Sunny Beach much cheaper than from a hotel room to a hospital located a kilometer from the hotel. And that's another story.
I got food poisoning from popcorn at the hotel bar. Where drinks and food were served as part of the all inclusive. Yes, she was so poisoned that she landed in the hospital, spending a total of several hours there.
A little about the hotel:
1 The rooms are good, spacious, they cleaned every day well - they left a tip a couple of times, but for some reason they were not taken. SHAMPOO TO TAKE WITH YOU!! ! The rest of the toiletries were, but the shampoo was put in one jar on the first day, and then wash whatever you want. The hotel is built in such a way that in all studios with a declared sea view - the sea can only be seen well leaning over from the balcony. (but since I prefer to swim in the sea and look at it from the side of the beach, and not out the window, I don’t consider it a disadvantage). The room has a safe, paid.
2. Meals - you can’t stay hungry in principle - breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet in the main restaurant, there are two bars on the street where you can eat and drink something. Once per stay, you can dine by appointment in the restaurant (we did not go). The food is varied, a lot of deliciously cooked meat (unlike Turkey, Egypt, etc. ), little fish (they gave only a couple of times), but a lot of vegetables, fruits, cheeses, there was ice cream around the clock, juices like everywhere else like yupi....
3. Beach and hotel area. BEACHES IN BULGARIA ARE ALL PUBLIC!! ! Sunbeds and umbrellas on them are paid (7 leva). Therefore, it is better to choose a hotel on the first line. We lay on the sunbeds by the pool, and went to swim in the sea. The territory of the hotel is small, the pool is not big, but there were enough sunbeds for everyone. Sun beds with mattresses, but BEACH TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THE HOTEL !!!
4. Animation. It was not in principle, with the exception of one national evening when they danced, sang and played folk songs for half an hour. But since we had a big company, we didn’t have to be bored. I was pleased with the free billiards, but the gym is paid.
Mostly Germans and Scandinavians rest in the hotel, there are very few of our Slavic brothers.
Very good hotel for the money!
What we liked:
1. Efficient work of the meeting party KITT company;
2. The good location of the hotel (on the first line by the sea, since sunbeds and umbrellas are paid on the beach (each 7 leva). We sunbathed around the pool, and went to swim in the sea) literally 20 meters)
3. Modern architecture of the hotel is just nice.
4. AI system, fully justified itself. The food is delicious and varied: breakfast, lunch, dinner, hot and cold buffet. All other snacks and drinks at the bars around the pool. Also free sunbeds and mattresses around the pool.
Once it was possible to visit the restaurant on the a la carte system: we visited the restaurant "Crystal": delicious, good service.
5. Musical evening program, it's good that every evening, but it's sad that everyone believes the same thing.
What surprised me:
1. In the advertisement all studios with sea view are NOT TRUE!!!
2. Bed linen was changed only once in 14 days. True towels changed daily.
3. Cleaning in the room every day, but one-time: soap, shampoo put only on the first day of settlement!! ! Then wash as you know : ((.
4. Misunderstanding with the rental of the safe. Safe is paid 2 leva per day. We paid for 14 days. Time of payment and, accordingly, the operation of the service: 9.41. On the last day of our stay, while we were swimming in the sea before breakfast: from 8.00 to 8.30. in our absence, a technician visited the room and blocked the safe with our money, valuables, documents. I had to apply to the reception, a technician appeared very quickly and unlocked the safe, we took our things. It is not clear that the safe was opened in our absence. There was an impression that this was done intentionally !!
5. Misunderstanding when checking out with paying for the mini bar. We didn't use the minibar. When checking out, we were told that we opened 2 bottles of mineral water and had to pay for them, and according to the maid, we opened them on the penultimate and last day of our stay. I had to go up to the room, where they solemnly handed me 1 bottle, the other one had allegedly already been replaced. Much to the displeasure of the staff at the reception, we paid only for 1 bottle, which we took away with soy. Once again, we emphasized that we did not use the bar and did not open the bottles !!! .
6. The sea - did not like it: shallow, dirty (seaweed carpet 1 meter wide and 40-50 meters long), which periodically carried to different sides of the beach. In addition, for some reason, only the sandy area is cleaned, where there are sunbeds, and the direct entrance to the sea and the sea itself remains dirty (not often, but plastic bags, dirty garbage, etc. )
