Good is not sought from good, as folk wisdom says.
I love to travel and in the summer Bulgaria attracts me with its clean sea, real fruits and vegetables, friendly people and such an almost native language. Perhaps that is why I have been coming here for five years at the beginning of summer and in autumn, during the velvet season, exactly here.
This year, by the sea, we opened a new, for us, hotel "St. Peter and Paul", in Pomorie. Almost two and a half thousand meters, carefully and lovingly equipped, furnished, cleaned and lived in. Here everything is in sight: both the hosts and the guests. Some vigilantly, but imperceptibly, make sure that others are comfortable. The owner himself checks how the food is prepared, is it enough? The hostess keeps order.

We have a large room, about forty meters, which has everything that is so vital for a modern person: TV, internet, refrigerator, hairdryer, electric kettle and even a small kitchen area with the same small electric stove. Fruit, champagne and chocolate - in the refrigerator, cookies and various goodies for tea, in the closet. I doubt that we will use the stove, why, when the food is so delicious in a cozy restaurant? Have you tried "sach"? This dish is also called "sachevo", a huge, cast-iron-like, frying pan with handles, on which meat, vegetables, and mushrooms are boiled, oozing juice. Are you not a meat lover? Please, fish sach, chicken, vegetable, prefabricated, fifteen kinds in total, choose! We tried four types, we still have everything ahead!
Bulgarian cuisine pleases me with light, vegetable salads seasoned with olive oil, meat and fish cooked on charcoal. But they don’t know how to cook soups in Bulgaria, I was convinced of this until I tried the “peleshka soup” in this family hotel and smiled! It turns out they can do it! Hot, golden, with greens, tender and, what is important, with not boiled, thin vermicelli, not large, but generous pieces of chicken meat! Props to the chef! I, accustomed to having breakfast very lightly, cannot resist his skill, both the design of the dish and its presentation affect here. This is the so-called buffet, but dishes are prepared and served to each person individually. The waiters are kind and helpful. For lovers of gesheft, I inform you that hotel guests have a 10% discount in the restaurant, which, again, is nice!
They don't look for good from good! But we decided to move and did it yesterday.
Surprised?
We moved from the second floor to the fifth! What for? To walk, climbing at least five times a day, compensating for the lack of movement, because the beach is 90 meters away! No, of course you can also use the elevator, there is one; with polished mirrors, small and shiny.
We moved! There is a reason to open a bottle of Bulgarian sparkling "brut" and continue to enjoy life!

We were in this hotel in August 2008, for the second season of its existence. We had 2 rooms, one of them overlooking the garbage. Since they arrived for 3 weeks, they asked to change the room, they moved a week later to the 4th floor, to a normal room. The hotel is run by a family, savings are felt on everything, all the work is done on their own, not very qualified, so everything breaks down quickly, and you have to wait a long time to fix it. In order to have a normal breakfast, you had to come to the opening, after an hour there was already nothing to eat and they didn’t put it in, although they saw that people had come. Those were the cons, now the pros. The sea is close. The restaurant cooked very tasty when for money. Discount for hotel guests - 10 percent. We, after walking around the restaurants of the city for a bit, settled on our own. Pomorie is a very pleasant city, although it cannot be called an elite resort. The cost of the hotel was low, so we were quite satisfied. But now, as the travel agency told me, it has become expensive. This year we will also spend part of our vacation in Pomorie, but in a different hotel.

I re-read the review and realized that it was about a completely different hotel, the author mixed it up. There is nothing like this, starting from the area of the hotel and the kitchen areas in the rooms of 40 m, and ending with the individual serving of dishes at breakfast in this hotel! And, here, about what hotel it is written - a question. Maybe the Grand Hotel Pomorie? He's just around the corner. Well, what a strange comment...

Lipa
rested in this hotel in August 2013, pleased with the proximity to the sea and the beach! A real sandy beach is just opposite this hotel, further on the coast is rocky. The hotel is clean, everything is really monitored by the owner and his whole family. The rooms were cleaned daily, our money and phones were in the room right on the table and nothing was missing. Breakfasts are standard, but we still, despite the 10% discount, preferred dinners at the Chaika beach cafe opposite. Of the minuses - constant water on the floor in the corridors and the occasional stink from the drain hole on the floor in the bathroom. It is quite pulling for its declared 3 stars, and since we needed the hotel for spending the night and taking a shower, there are no questions.
