Holidays in Menabria
We rested in Menabria, Nessebar. tour operator "ALMATOUR-Kyiv". Hotel * * * (in my opinion, corresponds): clean, friendly staff, they understand Russian. The male receptionist and the bartenders are fluent in Russian, the girls in broken. Spacious rooms (the best rooms with a beautiful view from the balcony on the 1st floor - 101.102, 113-117 a little worse - 111 and 112), vacuumed every day, take out the trash, but soap and shampoo only once (on arrival), toilet paper why -something exfoliates (probably the cheapest). Towels and bed linen should be changed every three days - ask at the reception (Bulgarians “forget” about this).
In the room: centralized air conditioning, hair dryer, wide double bed, two folding chairs (this is for children on the extra bed - by the way, it is uncomfortable to sleep on them, some kind of board always rests against your side), a fairly spacious wardrobe, a desk, a TV, a telephone , a balcony (with two plastic chairs and a table), a stool, bedside tables, a hanger, a combined bathroom with a shower. Take a few clothespins with you - they will come in handy. Safe at the reception - 5 leva per day. In the hotel: 2 bars, swimming pool + paddling pool, elevator, restaurant. The hotel is mostly inhabited by Belarusians, Ukrainians, Russians, Serbs, Poles, Slovaks and a little bit of English. Change the currency only in banks (basically, the dollar to the left is 1 to 1.38, but not far from Menabria, where the park is, the rate is 1 to 1.402, and you can find 1 to 1.41. But if you see the rate higher, then it means they take a commission) By the way, you can also exchange at the hotel, but at 1.35.

The pool and sun loungers near it are free. It does not have its own beach. It's about 1 km to the beach, but it's nice to walk through the park. The park is clean and well maintained. On the beach, an umbrella and 2 sun loungers - 15 leva. At the level of the hotel "Arsena", where the sand dunes you can only take an umbrella for 5 leva. Whoever has his own beach umbrella - be sure to take it, you can lie down behind catamarans or behind a paid beach - it's free there. On the beach there are whistling lifeguards and flags (green - you can swim freely, yellow - you can swim, but without inflatables (only armlets for children or foam boards), red - they kick everyone out of the water and flop only at the very shore). There are no changing cabins on the beaches.

They only took breakfast. Breakfast is standard every day. For breakfast: hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage, sausages, fried sausages and sausages, UPI type drink, tea, coffee, buns and croissants, honey and jam, butter, cheese, watermelon or melon.

In general, the hotel leaves a good impression.
The city itself is very pleasant. Very suitable for family holidays. Moderately quiet and calm. Menabria, by the way, is the closest hotel to the old city. In the evenings we walked around the old town. There is an amusement park near Menabria. Lunch for two adults and a child on average - 20 - 23 leva. The set of dishes is standard, universal (with meat and beer). Restaurants in the old town are much more expensive. In cafes, Bulgarians often save on napkins. I recommend a cafe near the exit to the beach - "Yuzhen Bryag" (South Coast) or there is fast food on Khan Krum Street and another cafe "Pri Petyo" on Father Paisiy Street. And there and there fast service, and reasonable prices.
If you want noisy discos and have fun - go to Sunny Beach. It's nearby. Bus 0.70 leva.
If you want adrenaline, go to the water park. There are two of them. In Ravda (Nessebar) and in Sunny Beach. In the Solar god more extreme. I do not recommend the tour "Bulgarian Village". I have not seen a greater humiliation of the Russian-speaking people. There is nothing of particular value there. In my opinion, the organizers do not have enough money or imagination. Take either "Sozopol - Ropotamo" or a tasting.
