Hello! My wife and I want to share our impressions of the first and, probably, the last trip to Bulgaria (there were so terrible impressions). Although, perhaps we were just unlucky, and first of all, unlucky with the Grand Plaza Hotel2**
By the way, in the travel agency we were told that this is a "confident C grade" and 3 stars were also engraved on the hotel numbers (for the loss of the key - 50 euros)... but in fact it barely falls short of a cheap motel (and we paid 36 euros per day ), where they clean very rarely, and then at your request (we, for example, had to ask for toilet paper each time, the same thing with cleaning, they never cleaned it without a reminder). At first they gave us one towel for two; on the third day I had to ask again. Read the review about the bathroom ( http://www.turpravda.com/bg/nesebr/Grand_Plaza-h22187-r93313.html), where the description completely matches reality and we subscribe to every word. Garbage was removed very rarely, sometimes it took up to 6 days. Bed linen changed 2 times in 20 days! It's even funny to write. It was forbidden to use the air conditioner with the balcony door open under the threat of confiscation of the control panel (! ) And you will constantly think about it, because. the owner of the hotel really monitors this (for example, we were given a "reprimand" for violating at 6 in the morning). By the way, about the owner. Be careful as this man is an exceptional tyrant! First, he gives you a list of rules and prohibitions while staying at the hotel, then he makes you concessions and exceptions to these rules, and only then he will again poke you with a sheet of rules, yell and, apparently, get incomparable pleasure from it (for example, he will give you an ashtray in your room, and then he will say that it is forbidden to smoke in the hotel building (wtf?! )). It was on this basis (when the owner of the hotel yelled at my wife for using the tap in the kitchen and did not want to apologize) we had a trial with a representative of the travel agency (whom he himself called! ), which spoiled our vacation completely. And during this trial, he addressed everyone as “you”, boasted of “three passports and three educations”, poked his finger at people, shook the notorious sheet of rules, at the end he asked if I served in the army (!? ), and in front of my wife never apologized. And this is our first (I emphasize) trip to Bulgaria! In general, really - "take care of your nerves"! Good luck
