In general, the place is quiet and peaceful, but in the evenings in the neighboring hotel there were discos for children, they turned on the music very loudly, but at 10-30 it was already quiet, so they didn’t interfere with sleep.
Took breakfast and dinner. The food was good, you won't go hungry. Breakfast was a very tasty pastry. Dinner is good too.
The beach is nearby, no more than 5 minutes walk. More than enough space for everyone. The sea is clean, warm, excellent.
The only negative is the Bulgarian rescuers - rare cattle! They hate Ukrainians and Russians, by the way, too! Do not be shy in expressions! To declare - "so that the Russians kill you all! ". WHO SHOULD BE? ! Great spoiled the impression of Bulgaria. You thought that the Bulgarians are friendly towards the "brothers" of the Slavs, but nothing like that!
I won’t go to Kranevo anymore even for free!
The Vega hotel itself is a good budget hotel in a quiet outback, there are no complaints about the hotel and its employees, everything was very good.
But there are complaints about the representatives of the host company Solvex. Why is the hotel guide negligent in his duties? I arrived at the hotel at about 4 pm, I felt very bad, I needed to rest, get back to normal, but the hotel guide Oksana came to the room and now demands to immediately go to a meeting with her in the hotel lobby, why didn’t she offer a meeting in the evening, or in general, she simply said that the day before departure, she would report back the time of departure from the hotel to the receptionists on duty and that’s it! No, she insisted on meeting in the hall, although she sees that the man can hardly stand on his feet! She slipped a piece of paper with a phone and said write to Viber! She wasn’t on Viber, on Telegram either, it’s good that the girl at the reception was so kind, gave her the opportunity to use her office phone and called this Oksana to find out when she was leaving the hotel. Why should I bother with this? This is her duty! Well, yes, of course, I'm not a tourist from Germany or Britain and not a local tourist, I'm from Ukraine, which, as it turned out, the Bulgarians can not stand.
The hotel manager and the administrator speak Russian and could solve all the issues that arose. We agreed with the administrator on the organization of excursions of interest. The hotel has several buildings, its own restaurant, shop, ATM. I changed a small amount of money at the hotel, in shops and restaurants I paid with a bank card. The hotel has an elevator and a free safe deposit box at the reception. The room was cleaned daily. Towels were changed if needed.
The food is modest, budget, as a 2 * hotel, but everything was fresh, and you could make breakfast / dinner from the available products to your liking. For breakfast there were always fresh cucumbers / tomatoes, feta cheese, cheese, butter, 2-3 types of sausage, sausages, cereals, muesli, yogurt, jam, toast. Delicious coffee / cappuccino / cocoa was brewed in the coffee machine. For dinner, cucumbers / tomatoes / cheese, rice / potatoes / pasta, stewed vegetables, stew / chicken / sausages, fruit watermelon / plums. Nobody left hungry. The dishes were clean, the tables were constantly wiped. There were enough places in the restaurant for all the guests.
The hotel is located next to the sea. The beach is sandy, relatively clean, located close, about 5 minutes at a leisurely pace. The free beach area alternates with a paid area. In September, the choice of a place to stay was enough in any zone. The sea is warm and clean and you can walk 30-40 meters along the sandy bottom to the depth. Jellyfish were practically invisible.
Kranevo itself is a place for quiet solitude, to sit on the beach in a restaurant with a glass of wine, to dream or think about life. But all the interesting places in Bulgaria are very close and you can visit Balchik with its Botanical Garden, Stone Forest-rock formations, the city of Varna, the Aladzha rock monastery. The holiday was a success and I recommend the VEGA 2 * hotel for a relaxing holiday with children and for people 50+.
