1) Dining and catering:
Melanin and poorly washed dishes, hopelessly smells like bleach.
The food is dietary but delicious. Because of the heat, sometimes there was bread with mold and apricots, a cutlet with a fly, But everything was quickly replaced. Fruit strictly in portions: three apricots in hand, or one peach or half a slice of watermelon. Supplement was allowed only for main dishes. The third meal (there was no afternoon snack), and at 22.30 usually a bun with ayran.
Disgusting diluted juices and tea.
Because of the danger of ants, there is a strict ban on taking anything out of the dining room, even water and boiling water, so do not drink tea in the evening, unless you are an "invisible special agent. " So everyone is in the garden, that is, in the bar.
At the same time, the children bought chips and snacks without stopping right there in the bar and no one limited them, apparently, the resulting profit covered all the above risks.
It turns out that there used to be water coolers in the hotel, which were removed due to puddles, dampness and wood lice. And this is when the air temperature is above 30, children are forced to buy water in cafes or shops, because few people want to run to the dining room every time, especially from the beach.
Thus, fluid intake was only during meals.
There is also nowhere to warm milk or kefir for children in the evening.
The dining room is small, so for all residents there is a strict meal time, in case of violation, the anger of the watching Lyudmila Mikhailovna falls. It doesn't matter if you're hungry or not, it's important that the hotel is comfortable in time to feed the crowd of children that exceeds its capacity ??
Rooms:
Quadruple room with baby beds, which can hardly fit three people, for the fourth one is just stuffy hell.
So We lived on suitcases, there was nowhere to put things.
The door to the toilet does not close, there was nowhere to think.
The air conditioner did not cope, during its operation the air temperature in the room was 30 degrees. In three and two local was not fresh, judging by the open doors. God, I've never been so happy about rain and cloudy weather at sea as here ????????
The room was cleaned on demand, mostly we had to do it ourselves with improvised means (we bought rags) because the sand quickly began to hold together under our feet.
There were tiles on the floor everywhere, when water got in, people were literally like on ice, I myself observed many falls in the hall and then the guards shouted so that they would not run.
In general, in this place we did not feel like guests, even adults were reeducated.
During the rain, the balcony was flooded, and then the water flowed into the room, the children had fun and collected water with play pumps.
In our "camp" there was no daily routine, no matter how much we wanted to!! ! They went to bed after 23.00, and had breakfast at 08.00, there was a lack of lunchtime sleep.
There was a lack of sleep for everyone, given the heat and the dynamic rhythm of the events, the forces were quickly depleted.
After visiting the pool on site, most of them felt unwell in the stomach.
Sea:
The beach is small, 20 people, and at least 200 guests, of course there are not enough umbrellas for everyone ? ? we were warned about sunbeds,
Yes, we had no illusions about the conditions, but during the first week of our stay, the nerves began to fail, we didn’t want to imagine another 10 days of rest in this magical place. We decided to move, even for 10 days, but in joy and pleasure and impressions from Bulgaria will remain

Yes, the miracle of the "Frigate" - a sailing ship, captures with its appearance. What can not be said about the hotel "Fregat" (Kranevo, Bulgaria). Yes, the miracle of the "Frigate" - a sailing ship, captures with its appearance. What can not be said about the hotel "Fregat" (Kranevo, Bulgaria). One star, a visible and clear confirmation of this.
Let's start in order: 4 people settled us on the very last floor, the distance between the beds is no more than 0.5 m, a small TV, a toilet with a shared shower (mini communal apartment); without a balcony, but air conditioning (which, I want to note, is a plus, and it is the only one), wardrobe, hangers. One day it rained and there was a strong wind, I didn’t have to rest at night, I remind you, the last floor, the ceiling (plasterboard) took off, scraped, knocked, they were afraid that it would not collapse, they touched it with a hand, it is all shaky, flimsy, goes back and forth.
For 10 days they cleaned only 2 times, we asked for a mop and did it on our own, the cleaners brought only paper, changed the bed linen once, left the towels like that (maybe they forgot or were too lazy, but suddenly it would work), I had to ask for the next day, they gave it out.
Let's move on to the dining room: the appearance is Soviet-style, the furniture is appropriate. Food - as for children, it can be without indignation, but potatoes, sausages, chicken, pasta, egg scrambled eggs, empty sausage cuts, tomatoes, cucumbers - they just stood in the throat for 10 days. Drinking: painted yupii (they may have a different name) and “magic” tea - water with a mint smell, cold and warm water. Fruits: strictly according to the number on the plate, the staff gave out - peach 1pc. , Watermelon 1-2 pcs. , Apricot - 3pcs. Don’t come up for an addition - “buffet on a grand scale”, the staff immediately makes big eyes and says: “you already took it, it’s not allowed anymore, all questions are for the administration. ”
Russian-speaking staff (security and check-in organizer, order in the dining room and on the territory). Until 24.00, the lights out for children, we were delayed (we were told that the administration is allowed for adults) until 2 am, went to the door and heard a distinct: “what did you want? ”. “Yes, we passed by, can we spend the night? ” ? . At the same time, bracelets that speak of involvement in the hotel were on hand. That's the whole culture.
Yes, the pool is small and the water is not blue (the color of urine with a hint of water, sorry for the frankness), there was something to compare with when they went out to the common balcony, then the territories of neighboring hotels also have pools.
Oh, yes, I forgot about the Internet, you will have to pay 10 USD for it. Nothing is free in their hotel.
So think for yourself, decide for yourself whether you need such a vacation!

Settled in a 4-bed room. The room is small, you can't walk between the beds. There is nowhere to dry clothes, they dried them on a chair. The territory is small with a dirty pool, and next to it there are a couple of rusty simulators - they complete the picture . . The food is monotonous. Despite the fact that an adult ticket costs an order of magnitude more, children's portions are imposed.

Yesterday we returned with a group of children from a "vacation" in VALKO. I have not seen anything WORSE in Bulgaria. 1) DINING ROOM - "buffet" at a strictly appointed time, one piece of bone (in their opinion, the backbone of a chicken is a piece of meat), in plastic dishes, knives are not provided. But the most interesting thing is at the end: after eating, you collect all the dishes on a tray, take them to the designated place and, ATTENTION, you disassemble it yourself under the supervision of the servants: forks and spoons to the right, used napkins to the left, and, if you wish, you can probably wash the dishes not allowed for breakfast due to the fact that the hair is not braided!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! 2) MODE - the hotel positions itself as one star BUT surveillance video is everywhere.

The question is why? Only one answer comes to mind: "a step to the right, a step to the left - execution on the spot" (tested on our own experience), that is, nothing is impossible for your money, you paid for your vacation and live here according to our rules. Until 24.00 the entrance is open, after this time it is necessary to "beg off" from the "guard" resting on the couch at the reception. 3) ROOMS - 4-bed, that is, 4 beds are squeezed into a 2-bed room. Wardrobe fits up to two. When asked by the administration where to place things and suitcases, we were offered to take the suitcases to the balcony!!!!!! ! COOL4) INTERNET is paid everywhere5) There are no AIR CONDITIONERS in any room IF YOU WANT TO SPIT YOUR HOLIDAY THEN YOU GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! There was nowhere worse.

Condo weak, even at the maximum. The balcony is of reasonable size and has a portable towel dryer etc. In the bathroom there is a bathtub (real! ), there is an extractor hood, it doesn't smell of anything criminal ; -). It is a bit inconvenient to wash without a curtain, otherwise everything is acceptable. Never had a problem with water. There is no hair dryer.
For ten days, linen was changed once, towels were changed 4 times (sometimes at our request). Removed without additional tip.
All the staff are friendly, but those under 30 do not understand Russian well.
Breakfast - buffet. Sour-liquid cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese, butter, baked bread, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, muesli, milk, honey, tea, coffee, some fruit. Everything is edible, it is monotonous. About lunches and dinners - the reviews are not bad, but I have not tried it myself.
The hotel area is small. There is a microscopic playground (a pair of swings and something else). The pool is clean. Works from 10.00 to 17.00. The size of the main part is 15 by 5 meters (very approximately). There is a frog. Sun beds by the pool are free, but there are not many of them, if you wish, you can sunbathe nearby on the grass.
The hotel has a type of spa. Massage is not expensive, but very high quality. Back only - 5 sessions for 90 leva. In the same SPA there is a microscopic gym (5 leva per hour). On the fourth floor there is a tennis table (5 leva per hour), rackets at the reception, but where it stands, it is not realistic to play. The nearest viable table tennis is seen at the Inter Hotel.
There are small safes at the reception (12 levs - a week). You have the key and they keep the safe. There is also an iron at the reception (for free! ), The existence of ironing boards available in the hotel is stubbornly denied.
Animations - zero (which is a plus from our point of view). During the day, the children in the hotel opposite (Albatross) make noise. Quiet at night. Even numbers - to the courtyard of the hotel, odd numbers - to the street (I'm not sure that this is the case for all rooms).
One of the two elevators - constantly did not work (did not bother). On the fourth floor, on the roof there is a bar (it worked once with me), on the first floor there is a main bar. If you decide to drink tea there, ask for water to be poured from the cooler (real soda pours out of the coffee machine! ).
The hotel has a good exchange office (we only used it), open from 10 to 19.
To the beach 300 - 350 meters, there is no beach. On the beach BEFORE eight in the morning and AFTER five - you can sunbathe anywhere, and from 8 to 17 - paid zones work (umbrella 3-4, sunbed 2-3 levs), but the bulk - presses on free ones.
Near the hotel there is a bicycle rental - 4-5 leva per hour. You can go to the end of Kranevo (along the coast towards Z. Peskov) or to Albena (preferably along the coast). 3 hours is enough to go see Albena, relax and come back. If you are going to drive along the highway - be extremely careful and without children. Movement is fast.
On the way there is a beautiful sunflower field (you can take a picture).
The ENTIRE village of Kranevo can be reached on foot in 2 hours.
Lunch for two 15-20 leva (I liked the Niko cafe at the hotel of the same name), dinner for two - about 30-40 leva (I recommend Serbian).
We went on one excursion: “Kamchia. Miracles of Langoloz” (85 leva).
On the river wash - 30-40 minutes. The river is dirty and muddy, there is not much to see. 30 minutes - on a buffalo farm (you can take a picture holding a buffalo by the horn), the main thing is not to get into trouble. Tasting "sour milk" - 30 minutes. One small glass and jam (delicious, asked for two more). 1 hour - riding on the Soviet automobile industry, in the back, along a dirty forest road. Result: everything is covered in mud like ingots, what is extreme - no one understood. Further gatherings with games. Restaurant zero stars in nature with a break from first to second in 1.5 - 2 hours. Some wine, rakia, water, even less food, plus national dances and songs. Everything is sooooo tight.
Yes, the bus practically did not work air conditioning. All this action was accompanied by: an aunt-tour guide and two humanoid creatures (operators / entertainers).
Have a good holiday everyone!

Just arrived, the impression is good from the hotel. And now it is not 2, but 3 stars. There were no problems with accommodation. Almost everyone speaks Russian (at the reception for sure), a couple of people from the staff just did not speak. Breakfasts are monotonous, in principle quite normal for 3 stars, but for some reason the watermelons were not ripe, although in stores and on stalls the watermelons were already very ripe.

There was a suspicion that yesterday's pastries, but basically I repeat everything is ok. Since we don’t eat meat, I can’t rate meat dishes : ) and they are the absolute majority. There are no porridges for breakfast, it’s good that they took custard porridge for the child.
Cleaned the room every day, leave two leva and change the linen. The pool is quite decent, in most hotels it is noticeably smaller. We were at the very beginning of the season and there were not many people. But what is immediately noticeable, a lot of Russian in the hotel. A couple of Germans, a little more Poles, and the rest are all Russians and they were just arriving. On the first floor there is internet (free wifi), only paid networks were caught from the room (access cards in the store for 10 days 20 lv).
The hotel is located next to the Albatross Hotel (children's camp) noisy discos until the night, at 23 o'clock they subside of course, but until that time it is noisy if you do not close the window. With the window closed, it's almost quiet.
The road to the sea is really dusty and not paved, but when we left there they flooded speed bumps - they will drive less. Local youth on shaggy stockings they have something like our toothpicks; )
The beach that is right next to the road is really more expensive than the rest, and there is a tendency to take money for a place (and not for an umbrella, for example). You either have to go 100m to the left (beyond the river) there will be a 3lv umbrella and a 3lv deck chair, or 200 meters to the right, it’s generally free, your umbrella will cost 6lv, it seems, right on the way to the beach. Also, about 1km to the left is a wild nudist beach, where mostly grandparents sunbathe ; -)
On the road near the beach, you can walk to Albena, but there’s not much to do there, all souvenirs, products are more expensive than in Kranevo, except to entertain a child at attractions - there are noticeably more of them.
We dined in Izvor, Bolgarka and Margarita. In Izvor it is good, but expensive and smells like turtles downstairs (it stinks to be honest). In the grinder opposite Izvora, the same dishes are 2 times cheaper, although we did not notice any differences in food (taking into account our preferences), but the menu is noticeably poorer. In addition, in the izvor, they frown noticeably when you leave a little tip. And in Bulgarian, on the contrary, I want to leave a couple of lions for service, as the people are very nice. The restaurant at the Margarita Hotel turned out to be an ideal option (500 meters towards the sea from Izvora / Bulgarian). A large menu, good prices and exceptionally pleasant owners of the hotel Margarita herself and her husband. We liked their hotel too ; ) I can also say about the Ajax restaurant (on the main street) where such a plump uncle barkers constantly sticks out, so two friends (they met at the resort) said that everything was overcooked there - I didn’t check it myself.
I will also add when you go to choose souvenirs - do not rush! The cents there are more than closer to the beach or are generally randomly set; ) It is worth going further and comparing, for example, confiture (rose jam) turned out to be 2.4 levs in a supermarket about opposite the izvora, instead of 3.5 levs in the only stall where they sell it on the main street. This supermarket is generally the cheapest in Kranevo - there are zaga creams and everything else cheaper than others.
In the golden sands there is a water park, quite a decent one, from Kranevo 30lv by taxi (round trip) it takes about 15 minutes to go there. It’s better not to go there all day - time will fly by quickly; )
And more excursions from the bureau are usually more expensive than going there by taxi, despite the fact that having arrived by taxi you can agree at least for the whole day. So we went to Nessebar - it turned out 4 and a half hours is not enough; ) Do not forget to bargain with taxi drivers - from the initial price of 180lv we easily dropped to 150lv, but it could have been less probably. Cars for rent from 60lv to 100lv per day (in the first case of a shaggy year of manufacture, in the last ford fiesta 2009), most require 3 years of experience (here I had a bummer). Gasoline 2lv per liter (1 euro). The roads are good (the ones by the sea).
In short, we liked it, we had a good rest, the main thing is not to forget to smear sunscreen on the first days, otherwise you will burn like us; )
Cleaned the room every day, leave two leva and change the linen.

I had a rest with my son. The rest was not bad, I expected better. I liked the hotel very much. The service staff is at the highest level. If you want to see Bulgaria, you need to rent a car; it's just super. affordable money reached Varna and there they took tickets without any problems. Upon arrival from Sofia, all the same, Slavik met us and brought us to the hotel.

But remember that company is important on vacation.
