Rila 4* is a very popular hotel in Bansko and one of the first in the resort. The hotel is large, beautiful in appearance and located in the very center, 100 meters from the ski lift. The hotel has several shops and even a bank branch with a good exchange rate. The hotel is ideal for those who go skiing and those who like to live in the center of the infrastructure - around cafes, shops.

The rooms are very spacious and bright, renovated and furnished for several years. All rooms have balconies overlooking the slopes.
The food is good quality although don't expect a lot of variety. I do not recommend taking dinner at this hotel - there are many inexpensive mechanics nearby.

Just today we returned from the ski resort of Borovets (Bulgaria) and immediately write our impressions, because. There are a lot of negative things written on the Internet, but this is far from the case.
Firstly, almost for the first time, we felt the sincere care of the entire hotel staff and the guide from the tour operator (Solvex) girl Dora. She met us late in the evening at the hotel, immediately gave us a loan of 200 leva for expenses, because exchange offices on Saturday did not give the best exchange rate. Dora told all the best cafes with national cuisine, explained what it is worth spending money on and what you can save on. We settled in three rooms of the Rilla Hotel on the 9th floor. The window in the room on the entire wall and the view from the windows on the tracks struck us unusually. The hotel is solid, clean, but without show-offs (as for a ski holiday - excellent). Everything is clean, cleaned regularly without a tip, the bed is changed every day. Where I never saw smokers. It is forbidden to smoke in the hotel lobby, in most cafes they also do not smoke, vacationers are increasingly sports people. Lots of pubs and restaurants.
Now about the ski slopes. I have never seen such beauty as on Mount Yastrebets (2500m) where the gondola lift takes you. There are very few people on weekdays, only Bulgarians come for the weekend, but there are no queues for the lifts. The tracks are cleaned with snow groomers twice a day, in the evening before night skiing and then at night. On Wednesdays, the tour operator offers bathing in thermal springs, again we got the best experience (this evening it snowed in flakes). The only negative impression was made by the noisy English people who filled the hotel.
In general, many thanks to everyone who helped us have a great vacation - guide Dora, instructor Erik, equipment rental workers and employees of Bulgarian restaurants.

Hi all! The hotel is good, first of all, for its location. right under the nose of the lifts. If you are going to ride - this is the most important thing! Breakfast is average but included. And paying for dinner at the hotel is a pity, it's not worth it. There are a lot of rich cafes around, with all sorts of special offers, such as: 5 euros = a glass of beer + hamburger + fries.

The rooms are normal, there is a TV, bath, shower. shower hose broke once. called the reception - they came to repair within 10 minutes. The pool is just great! 25 meters, there is still a jacuzzi. There are no people in the pool in the morning, quite a lot in the evening. Good speed free wifi in the lobby. We were visiting neighboring hotels - Rilla seemed the best in its price category! Have a nice holiday everyone =)

in Borovets, perhaps one of the most successful - after the repair, very decent large rooms - we are going there for the second year in a row! here breakfasts are not very good, they didn’t take dinners - there are a lot of delicious delicious bars around, and the New Year’s dinner was just very meager
