Calm rest in Sozopol
The first time I went to rest on the sea abroad. According to reviews and finances, I chose Sozopol. We live in Chernivtsi, my daughter and I, 10 years old, took the bus at 12-30 tour operator "Maria Drapataya", went through customs quickly and crossed Romania at 14-30. The road during the day was not difficult, given the quality of roads in Romania, drove at night to the territory of Bulgaria and transported people to cities and hotels. It was hard at night, even very hard. In the morning we arrived in New Sozopol, the town was still sleeping, we found a room with the hostess for 10 lev per person (1 euro = 1.92 lev), without air conditioning. Clean , light, comfortable. "Free flocks or apartments" - such signs hang on the doors of many houses.
Bulgarians are very hospitable. Barkers invite you to cafes and restaurants, but be careful, if the cafe is full of people, you can safely go to eat, it’s delicious here and large enough portions. We had dinner at the Barracuda restaurant, which is located on the waterfront near Harmanite beach. After 20-00 it was very difficult to find a table.
For breakfast, we bought “jelly milk” - thick yogurt - this is my food, especially 4.5%, pancakes - palanchiki. For lunch we went to cafes, took set meals, 7 or 6 lev, (1. soup, 2. pizza or rice with vegetables, 3. ice cream or pancake, 4. bread and bonus beer or tea. ) I don’t know how anyone, but one menu was enough for us.
We rode on a boat around Paul's Island (10 lev per adult and 6 lev per child under 12, at 18-00 and 19-30). An old boat, but a beautiful view and good music left a wonderful impression.
In the park of the Old Town there are tents where children can paint plaster figures, masks, glass with special paints (from 5 lev, glass 17). Were in the water park in Soln. Beregu from a travel agency, 55lev per person ticket and road. after lunch, the entrance is cheaper and there are more people. Yes, a locker costs 5 lev and a safe 7 lev.
We decided to visit Burgas, buy things. The bus leaves from Old Sozopol, opposite the carriages, it costs 4.5 leva, 30 minutes drive. We walked the entire main street, but did not find high-quality and worthy things. bus 12, opposite the final station in Burgas, about four stops, 1 lev passage. As for myself, I did not find anything.
The beach is certainly not a fountain, people are monotonous for me. They took an umbrella with them so as not to pay. They were not allowed to swim during the storm, only Russian speakers did not leave the water.
1. Take sunscreen with you. Protective creams, but more. Well, it’s very expensive here. I was right in shock. A jar of Nivea factor 50 costs 150 hryvnia, or 15 euros. I bought it at home three times cheaper.
2. If you want a quiet holiday, it's better to come at the end of June, less people and prices, more opportunities to choose a room or number. After July 14, a madhouse begins.
3. Be careful with portions, look at the grams. Try "kashkaval pane" - fried breaded cheese, soft jelly. I fell in love with him.
4. If you are normal guests, then you will be treated just fine. We had Polish neighbors, young people, I have never seen cooler PIGS. The hostess kicked them out on the fourth day. I was given a business card upon departure, and they are waiting for a call if I am going to come again.

I got what I wanted. Quiet rest. I liked that we didn’t depend on anyone. When we wanted, we woke up, we didn’t run to dinner at the restaurant on schedule. Good attitude towards tourists, excellent service, smiles. I could at work. I can safely say - go, relax, do not be afraid of anything and enjoy.
