Trip to Bulgaria
I want to share with those who are going to go to Bulgaria for a vacation. I usually never write reviews, but in this case, as they say, it boiled over. The story will be about holidays in Varna, Burgas, Sozopol, Pomorie, Nessebar.
1. The service is terrible, the feeling is that you owe them something, the people themselves are very unpleasant and unfriendly. In the supermarket, the cashier, scanning the products, began to throw them away as if it were some kind of garbage, then when paying, he took my card from his hands (on my remark that the card was contactless, he grinned and, without releasing the kata from his hands, began punching the check. On my demand to return the card, he threw it in my direction. I accordingly began to be rude to him, and if not for the manager who managed to run up in time, I would have dragged him right there. The manager apologized, we took the purchases and the next time I visited this store, paying with a card from me, none of the staff tried to snatch it This is one example, it makes no sense to describe everything.
2. By prices. Everything is very expensive, a trip with a family of 3 cost about 190.000 rubles. For this money, I could get much better service and rest, even in the same fucking Turkey. The average check for a family of 3 people to eat once in a decent place is 50-60 lev, which is somewhere around 2300-2400 rubles. and it's quite modest to eat. The food is not tasty, they don't even know how to cook their national dishes. Everywhere they try to breed. Taxi drivers are tough, negotiate the price right away and make it final. Bargain with local carriers and bring down the price. I was inspired to write this review by a complete disappointment from the rest, so that those people who are going to go on vacation to this country think well... but is it worth it?
3. Well, a little positive)) if you are still planning to go to this country, I recommend Sozopol Ravadinovo Castle. This is the only place that really impresses. It’s very beautiful, you won’t get into the castle itself, it’s being renovated, but you can walk around the territory. The issue price is 20 lev per person, which is somewhere around 750-800 rubles.
4. There is a water park next to the castle, everything looks beautiful in the pictures, in fact nothing special. Therefore, it is not worth spending time and money on dubious pleasure.
Well, in a nutshell, something like this. All those who write rave reviews about Bulgaria apparently do not understand what a normal service is. I understand that now there will be comments like: I went to the wrong place... , no luck... , you don’t know how to relax, etc. So for such comrades I’ll immediately answer: I have traveled almost the whole world and I know from my own experience what good is decent service and comfort.
Result: the climate is pleasant, the sea is of average scall, the beaches are rubbish, dirty, they don’t clean them, everywhere there are bulls from cigarettes (everyone and everywhere smoke) you won’t believe it... , in the water park, a Bulgarian puts children in cheesecakes and a cigarette in his mouth... , this is tin. . .
