Great month in Garden of Eden :-)
My girlfriend and I and three children, 2.5, 6 years old, rested in Eden in August 2009. Everything went on a four with a plus or even a five with a minus. I’ll tell you about the cons right away, so as not to return later:
Seaweed. For a month along the coast after a night storm, green rubbish was thrown out 5 times. We had to wait until lunchtime to be taken away. Also due to the fact that the sunbeds are free, you need to take them early in the morning. So after a while we just bought a folding umbrella and started bringing towels. Another negative that overshadowed the vacation - the baby was poisoned by something or, as the doctor said, it could just be acclimatization. Yes, by the way, the doctor is right on the territory, which pleased. In any case, after 3 days of activated charcoal, everything came to its senses. The rest of the children were not sick. With minuses, perhaps everything. : ) We booked apartments at the end of February, so we were able to choose. We got just AMAZING apartments (Diana block). The view is right on the bay, the rooms are large, we each had our own bathroom. Cleaning several times a week (cleaning is more of a name, they just wiped the dust, took out the trash. But we were cleaning, so it was possible not to clean our house at all : ) We rented apartments in the Latour company - very nice guys. Before paying, they contacted the complex itself, it turned out to be cheaper through latur anyway, so we recommend it.
When we went for 4 weeks, we were worried that the food in one place would get boring. A week later, the following routine was established: we had breakfast on the veranda (we bought groceries in a shop on the territory when we were too lazy to get out of the complex. And if you are not lazy, then you should take a bus (5 minutes) to the center of St. Vlas. Products are 20 percent cheaper and there is more choice . Try "sour blyako" - a thing! ). Lunch - light salads at home or pizza with salads in a restaurant or bar on the beach. Dinner is usually served in restaurants (Paradiso is more expensive, Italian and fish are simpler, but also delicious). You can walk to the yacht marina (if with a stroller, then 30 minutes at a leisurely pace). There are a lot of restaurants there, but since walking in the evenings with small children is still a pleasure, we got out only 3 times.
There are many pools on the territory, but the coolest one is the big one at the top of the complex. Right next to it is a bar that adjoins a children's pool, so for the first time children and a cocktail could be combined : )))) On the plus side: the absence of any drunken contingent that met in Turkey. Everything is calm and orderly. A separate area creates some peace and comfort. The apartments are spacious, new, nothing broke. There are mountains nearby (more precisely, hills, but they have mountains : ) on which there is a pine forest, so the mountain + sea air turns out to be healing. In short, we liked it. This year we are going again in August, already with a larger company. So stay tuned for the next one : )
