It just so happened that for 6 years my husband and I never got out on a ski vacation (seas and oceans). And so, almost spontaneously, at the end of November, we decided - we need to go: for me - to learn to ski, for him - to resume skills. The choice, on the advice of our travel agent, fell on Bulgaria, Bansko. Firstly, they had not been in the country before, and secondly, the agent recommended the resort just for me, a beginner skier. 100% satisfied with the rest, and the hotel, and the slopes!! ! The hotel meets the stated 4 * - cozy rooms, a wonderful lobby bar with a live fireplace and friendly bartenders, normal HB food (no frills, everything in moderation). In Bansko, for those who love to eat a lot and really tasty, there are local taverns at every step. The hotel has a very decent swimming pool, there is a Finnish sauna and a Russian bath (steam room), which is very nice when you return tired and happy after a day of skiing to the hotel. There is a separate room on the 1st floor for storing equipment, drying shoes. A free minibus from the hotel runs to the ski lift every half an hour (it takes 8 minutes to drive around the town). Ski pass and equipment rental - right at the ski lift. Tracks are different. I won’t speak for the pros, but for beginners it’s just super: different steepness : ) slopes and slopes, various lifts. The mountains are just amazing! ! It is especially beautiful on the very top platform (don't be too lazy to climb up! ), and when you float over centennial pines and spruces in the lift cabin. . Summary: we plan to definitely return to Bansko again and to this hotel.
