We stayed at this hotel in February 2005. The hotel is purely family, not new, located close enough to the ski lift (5 minutes walk). But in winter, in cold weather, problems can occur. The hotel is purely summer, large-slotted. Heating - electric radiators, in the bathroom - no heating, only a boiler for the mountains. water. Rooms - in the standard Bulgarian style, without frills. The mechanics at the hotel are terrible! Don't eat there!! ! For breakfast - toast, cheese, tea, coffee. AND EVERYTHING!! ! On Fridays, a lot of Bulgarians come by, who are buzzing in the mechane under the nat. songs until 3am. . .
But we had no time for fat: we were thrown by a Moscow travel agency and had to urgently settle somewhere instead of the Bansko Hotel. A deep bow to our guide - she put us in "Karol". We had a two-room suite, quite tolerable. To the city center - 5 min. on foot, in the hotel, the sweet host Petya, even donated her personal hair dryer to us. So, if the price for which you will be offered this hotel is low and you are unpretentious in terms of comfort and you are only going to ride, then try it.
