We spent a week at the hotel. I do not advise anyone Cons: the hotel is very far from the center and from the gondola lift (approximately 2.5 km), the shuttle bus runs 3 times in the morning to the lift and 3 times in the evening, the last one at 17.00. If you want to take a walk in the evening, you need to take it back taxi or on foot.

If you want to take a walk in the evening, you need to take it back taxi or on foot. Although, we walked three times and could not find a hotel among many small and monotonous streets, especially late in the evening. Well fucked up! In addition, terrible breakfasts - finely shaved boiled sausage, melted cheese, some vegetables, powdered juice, crappy coffee, boiled eggs and stale bagels and some other pastries. It's impossible to eat it! Softens everything very friendly owner, who tries to help in everything. At our request, we changed the number to a larger one. In addition to him, no one understands Russian and English in the hotel. There is a small sauna, but no pool - only a shower with broken plumbing. The rooms are small and uncomfortable. There are no cubicles and no baths - the shower is located directly above the toilet. When you bathe in the toilet, the water is knee-deep. The room was never cleaned - they only threw out the trash, once the towels were changed. They gave me one sachet of shampoo and a small soap for the whole week. I love Bulgaria very much and have been in hotels on the coast - they cannot be compared in terms of comfort and service. The hotel is clearly not pulling even a triple. I do not advise anyone!

We stayed at this hotel in Bansko during a trip to Bulgaria in December 2011. It looks like the hotel has remained a friendly haven for travelers and vacationers: a wonderful cozy atmosphere, quiet, calm, delicious cuisine. With pleasure I recommend the hotel DONCEV Bansko. Have a good rest.

I will try to briefly describe the impressions about the hotel and the owners. the first time was in a family hotel (kyshta). Now I will not go to any 4-5 stars. First of all, the attitude of the owners of the hotel plays a role. More like a hostess. Greta. very sweet and kind woman. speaks Russian well. will try to fulfill any of your desires (within reason, of course).
