First time I write a bad review. Usually on vacation you are mostly satisfied with everything, but after this hotel you don’t want to go to Bulgaria at all. Firstly, they gave us a good room in terms of view (on the beach), but this is perhaps the only plus. The room itself is shabby, but you can live for 10 days (I try to write as objectively as possible).

Firstly, they gave us a good room in terms of view (on the beach), but this is perhaps the only plus. The room itself is shabby, but you can live for 10 days (I try to write as objectively as possible). We dragged the suitcases on our own. Plumbing broke down all the time (they called a plumber once to repair the toilet, and then they just put up with it) The door to the bathroom. the office did not close at all (it just skewed). It's good that I rested with my mother and daughter, i. e. all girls. By the way, the staff does not pay attention when you say that the child is sleeping and let's you repair the toilet a little later (the plumber just pushed me away and went into the room).
It is very inconvenient to rent a safe, because. he is at the reception. Refrigerator for a fee.
Separate conversation on food and restaurant: because. there were some breakfasts nothing special, but in principle you can eat. There were no super-delicious buns (as some people say about other hotels in Albena). There was a certain unpleasant moment, a man stood at the exit and took away everything that you tried to endure. I'm not talking about plates of rolls and fruit. He even took away a seedy apple from a three-year-old child (and even one that he had already bitten). Such boorish behavior crossed out everything. I've been to many places, but this is the first time I've come across this.
Of course, the presence of the sea brightens up everything (preferably the absence of rain). Sun loungers with umbrellas are issued free of charge, but they are not straight if you go from the hotel to the beach, but you need to go diagonally towards other hotels. Our place was a playground (not bad) and is next to the hotel. There is no entertainment from the hotel at all. There was a children's disco, but we were there once and there was one of my daughters and the waitress acted as an animator. They didn’t go there anymore, they went to other hotels (well, no one there checked from their hotel or not). That's all, decide for yourself whether to relax in this hotel or not.

I stayed with my husband in July-August 2010. The tour was for 3 weeks. If not for the hotel, it would be possible to consider the holiday successful. The cost of a ticket with a flight + breakfast (buffet) - 61 thousand rubles. At first, I did not like the frank begging for a tip for dragging our suitcase to the door - 10 meters to the room.

The cost of a ticket with a flight + breakfast (buffet) - 61 thousand rubles.
At first, I did not like the frank begging for a tip for dragging our suitcase to the door - 10 meters to the room. although we did not ask, they simply picked it up and carried it. I said that I had not exchanged the currency yet, to which the answer was that 100 r would suit me.
Placed on the 1st floor, although I asked for a quiet room, not on a karaoke bar, but placed just almost opposite the bar.
Music at night did not let us fall asleep (we are 50, we came to the sea to treat the nervous system, both teachers). Two days later, it's even worse - in the heat, a strong smell of urine from the window (opposite a stall with vegetables, it's not hard to guess). They invited the manager, she asked "what does it smell like? ". They changed the room only after 4 days, referring to the occupancy of the rooms.
The next room was on the 5th floor, overlooking the courtyard, and not the bush as in the previous one. It was very stuffy - they opened both the door and the balcony for ventilation - then the slatted ceiling in the bathroom rattled as hard as it could, so that it was audible to the neighbors. There was a stupefying smell of rot coming from the sewer holes in the bathroom, you have to wash it off with cold water to drown it out.
The neighbor smoked shamelessly all night, choking on the smoke that blew in our direction all the time. In general, on the beach there is a sea of u200bu200bsmokers and cigarette butts are certainly thrust into the sand, it is not possible to clean it with a cleaning machine from cigarette butts. We believe that fines should be imposed on those who smoke in public places. My husband took a seat on the beach early in the morning so that we would not breathe smoke.
Towels were changed frequently, the floors were washed every 4-5 days, the garbage was taken out daily, the bed was changed every 5 days. They left a tip of 2 lev every other day.
Breakfasts are very monotonous, there were a lot of fruits, fresh, but it was hot in the dining room, so I wanted to run away quickly.
There are 3 young girls at the reception who do not understand or pretend to be what they want. We waited 7 days for a clothesline to be hung on the balcony, stuffiness in the hall itself, how poor they work there.
There is no radio in the room, what they write on the Internet is not true! Hanging wooden box imitating radio.
Everything is paid - basins for washing, irons, refrigerators, fans. Not to be compared with Abkhazia - the nature is more beautiful there and all this was given for free.
There are cars on the sidewalks along the entire length of the road, and they wrote that Albena is the quietest place in Bulgaria, imagine what is happening in Sunny Beach or Golden Sands.
Excursion services are not true and expensive. The Bulgarian fiesta did not justify itself: no sooner had my husband and I left the table in the restaurant to go dancing, as we immediately discovered after 5 minutes that our dishes were taken away by the waiter, but we had not yet had time to touch the chicken. True, when I asked to bring - the dish was brought; )
It was not possible to see the dancing on the coals in the dark, we were all seated in our seats, and only after that the dancing began, and it is far from visible whether they are dancing on the coals or not!
The goods are mainly from China and everything is very expensive.
One thing made me happy - sand, warm clear sea, wide beaches, calm on the streets, the night sky was amazing with starryness, a lot of stars fell, it’s very good to sit on the beach and watch this beauty, but until something pulls you to Bulgaria next time, we can’t imagine , how do they go there 5 times in a row, are there any other places?
And on the last day, we learned from the restaurant waitress that the hotel was apparently working for the last season and would be demolished.
Let's hope that new life is breathed into it and the staff will be replaced with a more attentive to vacationers.

The hotel was chosen almost by chance. Just a tour to it was cheaper than other hotels. The hotel is a typical "scoop". The room is very damp and on the floor too (we lived on the first floor), there is no air conditioning, so the room was "dried" with open windows. The window is the only thing that I liked in the room - it is large and sliding.

In the bathroom, in principle, it is tolerable, only dirt (fungus? ) On the shower doors and the water does not drain well.
The food is good, we only had breakfast, but very monotonous, every morning the same thing, no changes. the same products in the same places.
We lived 7 days in the hotel: the room was cleaned once, the linen was never changed. Only the garbage was taken out every day, thanks, at least on this one. The front desk is full of idiots! They are of no use! One answer is "I don't know".
And a warning to couples: lock the door from the inside with a key, because the maids can come in without knocking.
The hotel is only for picky tourists.
And so I would suggest to the owners of the restaurant to rename the hotel from Dorostor to Doistor!
Citizens are tourists, looking for a decent place.

People, do not go with the Bulgarian travel agency "Dobr Den"!! ! I have not seen worse. they hire students who live somewhere in Sofia and know nothing about the history and modern life of Bulgaria. We lived in the dorostor hotel, it is somewhat reminiscent of a bunker. Albena - SOVIET resort. all buildings under 60.

We lived in the dorostor hotel, it is somewhat reminiscent of a bunker. Albena - SOVIET resort. all buildings under 60. prices bite. but the sea was good, only stormy sometimes. the sand is dirty, with cigarette butts. There is no central square as such. Everything in restaurants is very expensive. sometimes I had to go to the station to eat at Russian prices. if you want to spend 2 weeks in the company of smelly and loud-voiced Germans, annoying Romanians, ignorant Bulgarian taxi drivers, frenzied French, then this is the resort for you. it’s good for children there, only for this it’s worth going there....I will recommend hotels: ambassador, lagoon (there are 3 of them and all are good), kaliakra and kaliopa.

Up to its category, the hotel is not very up to the interior, and everything else is very good. Located on the 1st line, part of the balconies overlook the sea, part of the inner square, the entrance from the main street, and therefore everything is nearby: cafes, shops, entertainment, beach. The rooms with balconies overlooking the beach are noisy at night, as there is a karaoke bar on the beach, but the rooms overlooking the courtyard are very quiet, and the view from there is also very nice.

Rooms: simple but comfortable. Light walls, dark furniture. The furniture and fixtures in the room are old. But everything is in working order, the bathroom is spacious. Floor tiles with rugs around the beds. The room has a TV and radio, plastic furniture on the balcony.
The restaurant has an old interior that needs renovation for a long time. The food is good, especially the dinners. A lot of meat, side dishes, baked vegetables, soups, desserts. All drinks for dinner at the hotel, as well as in other hotels in Albena (except for hotels, all inclusive) for extra. fee. The service is excellent for a hotel of this level. The room is cleaned daily, snow-white towels are changed daily, linen every 4-5 days. In the restaurant, the waiters cleaned the tables on time, so it was always clean too. The hotel lobby has a bar open 24/7.
There is no entertainment for children in the hotel. But there is a beach nearby, where there is a free playground, and right next to the entrance to the hotel is an amusement park. In conclusion, I would like to say that Dorostor is a good economical option. For the price it is a little more expensive than 2 *, and of course the service is higher + convenient location and good food. If you do not want to overpay money for new furniture in the room, then Dorostor will suit you!
