Stayed at this hotel with my husband from 12/30/2018. until 01/06/2019 Since we visited in winter, in addition to the usual requirements for a hotel, it was important for me that it was warm and not damp. The hotel fully met our expectations. Comfortable, clean, very warm rooms. The rooms have bathrobes and slippers (this is especially important in winter). There are tea making facilities in the room. When I was driving in one of the reviews I read that there are tea accessories in the room, but there is no tea and coffee - this is true, but with one caveat at the reception, both tea and coffee are absolutely free for everyone - take as much as you need. The hotel is absolutely for everyone The sauna is open every day for free (all accessories - bathrobes, towels, etc. ) can be taken there. There is a standard set in the bathroom in the room, the only shampoo did not suit me personally, therefore, if this is important for you, it is better to take your proven one from home. We took a room with breakfast. Breakfast is normal - standard European. Of the "frills" daily only red fish. Somewhere in the reviews they wrote that they serve champagne for breakfast, I hasten to disappoint lovers of this drink, there is no champagne for breakfast. The only caveat when checking out at 5.00 was paid for breakfast, but the reception did everything possible not to issue a lunch box. Of course, this is a trifle, but if you have an early check-out, do not pay for breakfast on the day of departure. The location of the hotel is within walking distance from public transport and not far from the city center. From the airport by train S7 to the hotel is 20 minutes. On the 71 tram to the center and attractions about 10 minutes. For convenient transportation, I recommend buying a permanent weekly pass -17.1 euros (metro, bus, tram included). I myself like to walk, but in Vienna I fell in love with public transport - fast, clean, warm, and at the stops of any transport there is a scoreboard where you can see how many minutes before its arrival.
From restaurants I can recommend Salm Brau, a brasserie 5 minutes from the hotel with reasonable prices. In order not to stand in line (the waiting time is 15-30 minutes), I recommend booking a table at the reception. I can also recommend the restaurant "Gmoa Keller" - a restaurant of Austrian cuisine 15 minutes from the hotel (prices are moderate). But I also recommend booking a table at the reception in advance, as the restaurant is very popular with locals. Reservation of tables at the reception is absolutely free.
I recommend the perfume store "LENI", which we found by chance, but the prices in it are for Chanel, Dior, etc. 20% less and as a gift they give a bunch of samplers of perfumes, lipsticks, creams - Landstraber hauptstrabe 13 (address).
I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!! !
