*** Round bars *** are something that other countries don't have as a species (correct me if I'm wrong). At 5 pm, having descended from the mountain, the local people pour into round bars. They only sell alcohol there. Loud music is playing. Many do not even change their ski boots and do not take off their helmets - they just hang out. Somewhere around 7-8 o'clock in the number of visitors reaches a peak. If the bar is popular, then at this time you will not physically be able to go there. All movements inside are extremely intimate. Music is playing, everyone is talking, drinking beer, dancing vertically and the whole bar is one family. It's an indescribable feeling!
*** Aqua Dome *** - thermal baths, which are located in the neighboring town of Langenfeld, 12 kilometers north of Sö lden. Let's omit detailed descriptions, and just imagine such a frozen picture: it's -10 degrees outside, it's dark, an icy wind is blowing. A round bowl of a hot pool at a height of 7 meters above the ground, in the open air. There are 50 bodies in it, visible through clouds of steam blown away by the wind. But you are not with them! You just jumped out of your "ambush" - a smaller and lower warm pool. You are now on the street, wet, in swimming trunks, rushing against the wind to the stairs to the next level ...This is an indescribable feeling, and without health consequences!
*** Neighboring resort Hochgurgl *** - located 10 km south of Sö lden. It is much calmer and less "populated". Upstairs there is a hefty hut. For some reason, I think that it should be famous far beyond the resort, firstly, because of its antiquity, and secondly, because of its size.
We found powder in Hochgurgl to the waist and a visibility of 5 meters. They invented a new skating technique and got a lot of children's fun. If you are driving in bad weather, be sure to take chains on the wheels.
And finally, I would advise you to leave the "Russian" mentality at home. There are not many Russians, but when they come into view, their behavior and speech is almost always upsetting. Most Russians are in fast foods and shops. I can hardly explain it, but in the Spar supermarket every third person is Russian. And in the evening in the restaurant - one out of a hundred.
