When you are trying to go skiing in the last days of December, you are no longer up to fat, you take the first hotel that comes across and do not buzz. Spittal is quite far from decent gurneys like Bad Gastein or Kleinkirchheim. Up to one 40 minutes by train, to the second - an hour by bus. The plus is that the hotel is right in front of the station and the bus stop, that is, the body movements are minimal, and the train and bus are taken almost to the lift stations.

So Ertl turned out to be quite a good option for staying for five nights.
I skied for four days, for a beginner skier who last skied 11 years ago, this is a huge feat. I didn’t manage to get to Badgastein, I gave Keinkirchheim three days out of four. And I spent another day in Spittal itself, where I also found a modest but quite comfortable Goldeck hill with five red and blue runs (there is another black one, but it was closed).
In addition to the location, the advantages of the hotel include a small but cozy room and a pleasant breakfast: meat and cheese cuts, muesli, coffee, juices, fruits, pastries. Make an omelette or scrambled eggs to choose from. Not enough vegetables and porridge.
Cleanliness and quality of cleaning I would attribute to the minuses. Bed linen was not changed, only covered, towels were changed. For some reason, some shelves in the bathroom are not wiped, they have a multi-day layer of dust. The hair dryer is also clogged with dust, which smells of burning and quickly overheats.
The staff is kind, but without fanaticism: at the reception and in the restaurant there is often no one at all, you have to look for them. But in general, the hotel for the "four", I was satisfied.
