Alpine skiing for the New Year is wonderful, and a ski holiday in Austria is doubly wonderful. I would like to sincerely thank the Fifth Season club team for preparing and organizing my holiday in Ischgl in January 2011. The club's specialists chose and recommended the resort based on my skiing experience and personal preferences. The best option was chosen for the hotel (Silvretta) right next to the main lift. There were no problems with the flight, visa and transfer, everything was on time, on schedule. Ischgl himself impressed with his variety of skiing and the ability to ride one ski pass at the same time in Austria and Switzerland. It is especially cool that in the Swiss zone (the town of Samnaun) there are a bunch of duty free shops where you can pick up both new equipment and buy something to "warm up" at a very reasonable price. I recommend Ischgl to all ski lovers in Austria, as there you can find a variety of tracks for any level. If you get bored, you can always get to Galtur in half an hour, which is even higher than Ischgl.
