Very elegant and at the same time cozy hotel at the foot of the mountain. One of the best hotels in Zell am See (and given the proximity to the ski lifts - probably the best). Pros: very good service, the attentiveness and warmth of the hotel staff reminds more of Asian five-star hotels than the restraint of European ones, excellent aqua complex (two saunas, a steam room, an infrared cabin to improve blood circulation in the back, an excellent outdoor heated pool with a jacuzzi, a relaxation room), one of the two central lifts - a chair lift - is adjacent to the hotel, the second - a cabin lift - is a three-minute walk, a good drying room for storing ski equipment.

Our junior suite was quite spacious with a large balcony and a direct view of the lake and the mountains beyond (amazing view). Minus: 6-course dinners, although hearty, are somehow faceless, fresh, not very tasty, not at all taking into account the national specifics of the most magnificent Austrian cuisine. But in general, this is a very high-class hotel for travelers who value comfort and service above all.
